  • Love and the Bible Setting the Stage for the Search
Love and the Bible Robin Calamaio - Copyright 2003 - Edit 2019 freelygive-n.com If you think love is an important topic to Christianity, you owe it to yourself, and the world around you, to learn God's teaching on this subject. It is amazing how confused the teaching is on this vital topic. You are about to embark on a fascinating study, and like all correct Bible understandings, it is tremendously liberating. Love. This seems like an important subject in Christianity. One could even contend it is a core element of the Christian faith. After all, the first commandment is the requirement to love God with all of one's heart, mind, soul and strength (Mk 12:30). The second commandment requires us to love our neighbor as our self (Mk 12:31). This “love” requirement covers all our vital relationships - toward self, neighbor and Creator! But the centrality of this “love doctrine” extends even further. The Bible states that love fulfills the Law (Ro 13:8-10 and Gal 5:14). So, all the legal requirements of the Law of God are fulfilled by love? It is evidently made up of something that has the ability to even satisfy the requirements the entire Old Testament theocracy. This is worth thought, investigation and inquiry. So, ... what is love? If we are to fulfill these commands, we need some kind of definition. How else can we know if we are meeting His requirements? Before proceeding, I want you to write down your definition of “love.” Nobody will ever know what you write down unless you decide to share it.

On the screen menu that you see after pressing the back OK button -- 1. Select Auto-ISO. The XZ-1 will try really, really hard not to go over ISO 200 -- and that extra stop, from, say ISO 100 to 200, will give you super low-light pictures, with a camera-set shutter speed fast enough to handhold. 2. Next, going down the menu, select 1 Vivid. Then press the little Menu button on the back. Go to Picture Mode, select Vivid. Press the right arrow key, and set Contrast to +1, Sharpness 0, Saturation +1, Gradation - Normal. Important: do NOT set Gradation to Auto, or some other stuff will stop working. 3. Next, select white balance - Underwater (the fish icon). On the back-button Menu, go to WB, press the OK button to select the fish icon, then press the right-arrow. Leave A (amber) at 0, in the middle... but set G (green) to -1. Between this and the Vivid setting above, you'll get beautiful pictures, indoor and out, daytime, twilight, and in the dark. 4. Further down, select 'LF + Raw' as your picture type.

  • Leksykon Polskiej I Światowej Muzyki Elektronicznej
Piotr Mulawka Leksykon polskiej i światowej muzyki elektronicznej „Zrealizowano w ramach programu stypendialnego Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego-Kultura w sieci” Wydawca: Piotr Mulawka [email protected] © 2020 Wszelkie prawa zastrzeżone ISBN 978-83-943331-4-0 2 Przedmowa Muzyka elektroniczna narodziła się w latach 50-tych XX wieku, a do jej powstania przyczyniły się zdobycze techniki z końca XIX wieku m.in. telefon- pierwsze urządzenie służące do przesyłania dźwięków na odległość (Aleksander Graham Bell), fonograf- pierwsze urządzenie zapisujące dźwięk (Thomas Alv Edison 1877), gramofon (Emile Berliner 1887). Jak podają źródła, w 1948 roku francuski badacz, kompozytor, akustyk Pierre Schaeffer (1910-1995) nagrał za pomocą mikrofonu dźwięki naturalne m.in. (śpiew ptaków, hałas uliczny, rozmowy) i próbował je przekształcać. Tak powstała muzyka nazwana konkretną (fr. musigue concrete). W tym samym roku wyemitował w radiu „Koncert szumów”. Jego najważniejszą kompozycją okazał się utwór pt. „Symphonie pour un homme seul” z 1950 roku. W kolejnych latach muzykę konkretną łączono z muzyką tradycyjną. Oto pionierzy tego eksperymentu: John Cage i Yannis Xenakis. Muzyka konkretna pojawiła się w kompozycji Rogera Watersa. Utwór ten trafił na ścieżkę dźwiękową do filmu „The Body” (1970). Grupa Beaver and Krause wprowadziła muzykę konkretną do utworu „Walking Green Algae Blues” z albumu „In A Wild Sanctuary” (1970), a zespół Pink Floyd w „Animals” (1977). Pierwsze próby tworzenia muzyki elektronicznej miały miejsce w Darmstadt (w Niemczech) na Międzynarodowych Kursach Nowej Muzyki w 1950 roku. W 1951 roku powstało pierwsze studio muzyki elektronicznej przy Rozgłośni Radia Zachodnioniemieckiego w Kolonii (NWDR- Nordwestdeutscher Rundfunk). Tu tworzyli: H. Eimert (Glockenspiel 1953), K. Stockhausen (Elektronische Studie I, II-1951-1954), H.

Transcript Prepared By the Clerk of the Legislature Transcriber's Office Judiciary Committee February 28, 2013 [LB298 LB390 LB472 LB608 LB610] The Committee on Judiciary met at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2013, in Room 1113 of the State Capitol, Lincoln, Nebraska, for the purpose of conducting a public hearing on LB472, LB608, LB610, LB298, and LB390. Senators present: Brad Ashford, Chairperson; Steve Lathrop, Vice Chairperson; Ernie Chambers; Mark Christensen; Colby Coash; Al Davis; Amanda McGill; and Les Seiler. Senators absent: None. SENATOR LATHROP: (Recorder malfunction)...Judiciary Committee. My name is Steve Lathrop. I am the Vice Chair of this esteemed committee. We are going to hear, it looks like, five bills today, beginning with Senator Karpisek's...oh, flying lanterns. SENATOR McGILL: Oh, boy, been here before. (Laugh) SENATOR LATHROP: It will be like Groundhog Day today. Pardon me? When you go up the page will take it from you. Thanks for filling it out. Yeah, so for those of you that haven't been here before let me start with a couple of ground rules. First, turn off your cell phones or put them on vibrate so they're not interrupting the hearing. Second, we will take the bills in the order indicated outside. As we take the bills, the senator will introduce the bill, followed by proponents, followed, thereby, by opponents, then neutral testimony, and then the senator closes. Here's the thing about Judiciary Committee: If you haven't been here before, we use the light system. You'll have a green light when you start talking which should begin with your name and spell your last name.
