Puberty 2 Out June 17th on Dead Oceans
Mitski will release Puberty 2, her fourth studio album and debut for Dead Oceans, on June 17th. The following week, she embarks on a North American tour beginning with a run of already sold out shows in New York, Boston and Philadelphia. After releasing the bold video for rapturously praised lead single, “Your Best American Girl,” Mitski now presents the meticulously crafted video for widely lauded second single, “Happy.” Directed by Maegan Houang, who came up with her own completely out of the box narrative, the “Happy” video perfectly captures Mitski’s idea of the exhausting and exhaustive cycle of the fleeting nature of happiness.
