FOCS A copy of the minutes from the last meeting are displayed in the foyer and also available on the website, the next meet- ing will be on 21st November at 3.30pm in school. Music Tuition There are several peripatetic music teachers that are available to come into school to give lessons. Paul Clews teaches guitar and ukulele, Suzanne Davies teaches keyboard and violin and Lindsey Cooper teaches piano, flute and theory. If children wish to start lessons then please speak to Sarah in the office.

Year 6 Secondary School Transfer With the deadline fast approaching (31st October 2016), please could parent be aware they need to apply either by using the online system www.devon.gov.uk/admissionsonline or by contacting My Devon, the customer service centre on 0345 155 1019 to request an application form from the Step by Step booklet. The application form should be returned either to the school or parents can post directly to the Admissions Team before the 31st October 2016.

School Nursing Service Update Hi there! We are the School Nursing team that cover South Molton and area Schools. Our names are Jenny Warwick (Specialist Practitioner) and Jill Fletcher (Staff Nurse). We both work closely with families and offer a confiden- tial service. We also work closely with other services, including school, to promote the healthy growth and development of 5-19 year olds; this may include support for children with asthma, epilepsy and other medical conditions, or involve ad- vice about bedwetting, constipation, behaviour, emotional health and resilience, sleep, or diet. We also offer monthly com- munity clinics off site. If you would like help or advice please contact us on 01769 575189 or ask school to refer your child (ren) to us. We can’t wait to hear from you!!
