CONDITIONS1. Information on how to enter and prizes available form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions 2. In order for any video to be eligible in the competition, the film must demonstrate a positive environmental message about waste reduction and be submitted by an eligible entrant. 3. An ‘Eligible Entrant’ is any student attending a high school in the REROC region. The REROC region includes Council, Council, - Regional Council, Greater Shire Council, Shire Council, Council, , Council and City Council. 4. The video clip must be from fifteen (15) seconds to thirty (30) seconds in duration 5. Your clip must display the Talking Trash Slide for a duration of at least three (3) seconds at the very end of the clip. The Slide is available for download from talkingtrash.space for the duration of the competition. 6. Competition closes Sunday 31 August, 2015 at midnight, with judging being held immediately after by an independent judging panel. 7. The judges’ decisions in relation to all aspects of the competition shall be final. 8. Finalists will be notified after the closing date. 9. A Screening Night will be held in June where finalists will be showcased and winners will be announced. 10. The wining entry and finalists will be published on the Talking Trash website and Facebook page. Entrants may be required to participate in media opportunities 12. Prizes will be awarded for the following categories: a. Best Clip - An iPad (128GB Wifi Value $599) b. Most innovative reuse of waste materials - 16GB iPod nano (Value $219) Eastern Riverina Arts reserves the right to alter prizes at its discretion, and to withhold the awarding of a prize if entries of sufficient merit are not received. 13. You must own or hold all necessary rights (eg. copyrights) to the film you submit 14. Public domain videos are prohibited in whole or part. 15. Videos with any advertisements in them, including links to commercial sites, regardless of content, will not be accepted. 16. Videos that incite hatred, include hate speech, defamatory or discriminatory speech or videos depicting unlawful acts or extreme violence will not be accepted. 17. If you choose to use published music in your film, you will need permission in the form of a licence agreement to do so. We recommend you use no music, original or copyright-free music in your clip to avoid paying licence fees. 18. Any actors, writers or composers must sign a release form. Release forms can be downloaded from talkingtrash.space 19. Each Eligible Entrant must fill out an entry form, and grants Eastern Riveirna Arts permission to use any or all of their entry or entries in any media, including publication on the talking trash website, Facebook page for an unlimitedtime solely for the purposes of promoting Talkinhg Trash 20. If, after all reasonable effort, the winner is un-contactable to claim the prize, that winner will forfeit the prize in its entirety and it shall be awarded to the next runner up in the competition.

TALKING TRASH is a partenrship between Eastern Riverina Arts and REROC. This program is supported by NSW EPA Waste Less, Recycle More initiative funded from the waste levy. RELEASE FORM Anyone who appears in your clip (as an actor, musician, voice) is required to provide permission for you to use them in your film.
