Rounds three and four of the championship took place at our own DDMC meeting on May 18th and 19th. The racing commenced after a very moving tribute to our friend, long time club member and chief marshal, Dave Lea who passed away on 6th April. His close friend of many years, Geoff Simpson, laid Dave’s Ashes to rest in the gravel trap at Clervaux. Unfortunately, this number was reduced by one by Saturday morning. Dave Lea Celebrate 1949 - 2019 Dave Lea

thanks to the generosity of my facebook friends in motorsport the collection soon made over £FEEE. s most will know earlier this year we lost Dave Lea a long term and very o next question who is going to be the Aexperienced member of our team and first recipient of the trophy, how do we it got me thinking again about an award for all Sdecide easy really get the people who the people that make motorsport happen so I help to run events to nominate a winner, it is embarked on getting a suitable trophy to open to all disciplines of event running so if commemorate the time and effort that Dave put you know someone who deserves the accolade in to our sport. then let me know who and why they should win. A small select band of us will then meet in looked at awards and decided that to make the corner at a pub somewhere and decide the it special it needed to cost so how do we winner from the nominations. Thanks and kind Ipay for it simple start a collection I thought regards it would attract a couple of hundred pounds and then I was going to make up the difference, Steve Gibson
