ANNOUNCEMENT HEDNO would like to announce that today our crews continue the efforts to restore the damages that have affected the Network due to Ianos cyclone at all afflicted areas. In Kefalonia, following the reconnection of electricity supply for all crucial facilities, the area around Argostoli, the area of Sami and the area of Lixouri have also been restored. Extended damages have been caused at the Electricity Distributio Network in the northern part of the island, for which every possible effort is made for restoration within the day. In Ithaki, crews of HEDNO which have been enhanced since yesterday evening, have reconnected the supply in several areas on the island up to Vathi while ongoing works are in progress. In Zakinthos, electricity supply has been restored to a great extend, both at the southern part of the island, as well as the areas of Tragaki, Kipseli, Kato, Meso and part of Ano Gerakario, Agios Dimitrios, Kallithea, Pigadakia, Katastari and Orthonies, where the works of the crews continue until today. Extended nework damages have been detected in the areas of Alikes, Alikanas, Meso and Ano Volima, Agios Nikolaos, Anafonitria, Maries and Exohora Kabi. Please note that extra technical staff and equipment have been transferred to the island since yesterday. At the Prefecture of Karditsa, 59 substations at the urban web of the city have been reconnected to supply whil water pumping works are in progress to allow reconnection for 55 more, with the use of machines that have been urgently transferred on the spot from other areas. Moreover, today, supervision at parts of the Network that are not accessible will be taking place today with the use of drones, while 10, in total, crews are currently working in the area. Electricity reconnection works are continuing on the area of eastern and western Argithea, as well as Farsala. Please note that HEDNO CEO Mr A. Manos and General Manager of Network Development and Operation, Mr I. Menegatos will shortly be present at the city of Karditsa to ensure the effective coordination of all works. The Director of the Region of Central Greece, Mr G. Athanasiadis, is already there since HELLENIC ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION NETWORK OPERATOR S.A. yesterday, while the Director of Peloponnese - Epirus Region, Ms A.
