Sullivan became an integral part of the Chicago jazz scene of the ‘50s, playing in clubs with well-known jazz players. He continues to per- form to appreciative gatherings around the globe. “Ira Sullivan is truly one of jazz’s true masters, playing in Chicago at the birth of Bebop in the 1950s,” said David Feder, ICE president. “Though he has called Miami home for the last several decades, Sullivan is widely recorded and tours on the national and international jazz circuits.” Sullivan has played on several occasions with Feder and his WE WILL son, Nyan, in Islamorada.
