In particular, it analyzes the advanced science and cultures and harmonious combination of different civilizations that have gradually formed over the centuries as a result of various political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation in Uzbekistan. Keywords: Culture, symbiosis, civilization, Renaissance, Greco-Roman culture, urban planning, analytics, encyclopedia, philosophy, Islamic culture. INTRODUCTION. The consistent development of universal scientific thought is inextricably linked with the emergence and interdependence of historically different civilizations, which can be seen as a symbiosis of interactions 1 between them. In this regard, we see that the formation of the Great Silk Road and other external factors have played an important role in the development of scientific thinking in Uzbekistan. Scientific thinking is a historically stable system of generally accepted methodological standards and philosophical principles that emerges as a specific type of scientific interpretation of reality. Considering the formation of scientific thinking through the prism of the concept of “symbiosis of civilization” allows us to classify the similarities and differences of historically formed forms of thinking, as well as to analyze and predict the direction of its development. -

Heritage Tourism is regarded as a conceptual and operative basis that allows for a sustainable use of heritage assets. Heritage has been conceived as the identifying set of natural and cultural assets of a society with great potential for local tourist development. The concept of sustainability is based on three main goals: social, economic and ecological. Heritage tourism is a way of development intended to improve the quality of life of host communities and preservation of the environment. Heritage tourism has the potential to improve the economic vitality of numerous communities. The primary benefit of heritage tourism is its long-term economic value with high sustainable growth rates. It generates investment in the development of heritage product, complements and engages other tourism product, rejuvenates communities. It provides considerable non-economic benefits such as promoting, protecting and sustaining the heritage base; addressing traditions and values which define nations and communities; recognizing multicultural legacies linking nations; engaging local and regional governments; and furthering important educational functions. INTRODUCTION Culture and tourism have a mutually beneficial relationship which can strengthen the attractiveness and competitiveness of tourism destinations. Culture is increasingly an important element of the tourism product, which creates distinctiveness. The tourism provides an important means of enhancing culture and creating income which can support and strengthen cultural heritage, cultural production and creativity. Creating a strong relationship between tourism and culture can therefore help tourism destinations to become more attractive as well as more competitive (OCED, 2009). -

Sergounin on global, geopolitical, military-strategic, economic, social, and environmental factors. The author arrives at the conclusion that international influences have both positive and negative implications. On the one hand, they open Russian regions up for inter- national cooperation and contribute to the search for new models of Russian feder- alism. On the other hand, external factors may encourage nationalism and se- paratism at the subnational level and may provoke Russia’s disintegration. It is therefore important for Russian policy-makers to prevent, or at least reduce, the destructive processes, and to find ways of increasing the positive effects of inter- national influence on Russia. 人 文 地 理 第56巻 第6号 (2004) Indian Cinema in an Age of Globalization SUGIMOTO Yoshio India's commercial cinema is attracting popular attention in Japan, and a range of Western, Asian, African and Middle Eastern countries. Films from Bombay (Mumbai), the national center of Hindi production known as "Bollywood", together with regional movies from Tamil Nadu, are increasingly popular. Yet, as Bhattacharya wrote, "Indian films were relatively unknown in the West", and "even if they were known, it might have not been worth to know, especially when set against the cine- matic "quality" of art house films by Indian cinematic auteurs such as Satyajit Ray, Shyam Bene- gal, or Ritwik Gatak1)." During the 1990s the Indian commercial cinema became a subject of academic interest through the influence of the Cultural Studies. Especially, after 1995-the centenary year of the birth of movies-the main topic of interest was examining the social, political and cultural aspects of the Indian commercial cinema, particularly in relation to nationalism2). In this essay, I discuss the diversity and dynamics of Indian commercial cinema in an age of globalization. Particular emphasis is focused upon the influence of the emerging new urban mid- dle class that have come to the forefront of Indian life following a decade of economic liberaliza- tion. Attention is also centred upon the impact of technological developments such as cassettes, CDs, DVDs, and satellite TV on the Indian cinema. Finally, there is a discussion of the influence of overseas Indians, including non-resident Indians (NRIs) and persons of Indian origin (PIOs) on the nature and direction of the Indian cinema3).
