Summary

This report provides an update on the projects that have been granted funding from the 2010/11 budget.

Recommendations

The Committee are asked to note and comment on the progress made.

Report

1. There are 28 Local Joint Committees held around the County. The Market Drayton and Rural Parishes Local Joint Committee covers the areas of Market Drayton, Norton in Hales, , Cheswardine, Childs Ercall, Hinstock, Sutton Upon Tern, Hodnet, Stoke upon Tern, Moreton Say and Adderley.

2. The meetings aim to encourage local decision-making by providing people with the opportunity to scrutinise the service provision of the Council and other public services and also to determine the expenditure of a budget to meet local needs.

3. The Appendices attached show how the funding has been spent for 2010/11 to date.
