The videos document a varierty of community events, including Queen's Birthday picnics (1972, 1973), Midsumma carnivals and street parties, Minus 18 and Mardi Gras.

The group was affiliated with Prime Timers International, and had a close association with the City of Port Phillip, where they held most of their meetings. The Records include board and AGM papers, administrative documents, correspondence, and photographs. Copies of Vintage Men newsletters are held in the Newspaper Collection.
