Revision
4% The attached summary tables have been prepared in accordance with the request made by the Group at its meeting on 2-3 October 1975 (IMCG/3, paragraph 8). The tables reproduce data (relating to the main aggregates) on cattle numbers, slaughterings, production, stocks and trade as submitted by participants in response to the model questionnaire (L/Ul63/Rev.3)• The present revision is based on replies received on or before 17 April 1979.
It is to be noted that in some cases figures submitted as "forecasts" in earlier responses now appear as estimates for 1978. The date of the most recent reply to the questionnaire is indicated in the country column of Table 1.
