THE HUB CELEBRATES VALENTINE’S DAY AND PRESIDENTS DAY WITH SPECIAL LINEUP OF POPULAR PROGRAMMING

Friendship-Themed Episodes and Series Marathons Highlight Holiday Schedule

LOS ANGELES, Ca. – This February, The Hub, a TV destination for kids and their families, will celebrate Valentine’s Day and Presidents Day by presenting a special lineup of popular programming with a unique “kids’ eye view” of Valentine’s Day as a time to celebrate the value of friendship.

On Valentine’s Day (February 14), The Hub will present themed episodes of “’s Berry Bitty Adventures,” “ Friendship is Magic” and “,” highlighting the spirit of friendship, particularly its joy, charms and mysteries – qualities that children experience with their friends, and celebrate on Valentine’s Day.

The Hub will honor Presidents Day (February 21) by presenting two, six-episode marathons of The Hub animated series “G.I. Joe Renegades” and the live-action, game show “Family Game Night,” which will feature the top prize-winning families from the live-action series.

The Hub, which re-branded from the former Discovery Kids on 10-10-10, is a joint venture of Discovery Communications and , Inc., and is available to 61 million U.S. cable and satellite households.

“My Little Pony Friendship is Magic,” “Pound Puppies,” “G.I. Joe Renegades” and “Family Game Night” are produced for The Hub by Hasbro Studios. “Strawberry Shortcake’s Berry Bitty Adventures” is produced by Properties.

“Strawberry Shortcake’s Berry Bitty Adventures” (Monday, February 14, 1 p.m. – 2p.m. and 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.) The Hub presents two blocks of back-to-back, half-hour friendship-themed episodes of the CGI animated series “Strawberry Shortcake’s Berry Bitty Adventures” where girls of all ages can join Strawberry and her friends in Berry Bitty City where there is no challenge too big for this high-spirited resourceful bunch.

“My Little Pony Friendship is Magic” (Monday, February 14, 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.) The Hub presents two blocks of back-to-back, half-hour friendship-themed episodes of the animated series “My Little Pony Friendship is Magic” featuring Twilight and her new friends Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie, as they embark on wondrous adventures and learn what it means to be a true friend.

“Pound Puppies” (Monday, February 14, 3 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. – 9 p.m.) The Hub presents two blocks of back-to-back, half-hour friendship-themed episodes of the animated series “Pound Puppies,” featuring a team of fearless dogs whose mission is to find loving homes for puppies in need.

“G.I. Joe Renegades” (Monday, February 21, 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.) The Hub presents a marathon of six back-to-back, half-hour episodes of the action-adventure animated series “G.I. Joe Renegades,” in which the world’s most elite renegade force of highly trained specialists are forced to band together to prevent their nemesis, the evil forces of Cobra Industries, from achieving global domination.

“Family Game Night” (Monday, February 21, 6 p.m. – midnight) The Hub presents a marathon of six back-to-back, one-hour episodes of the live-action series “Family Game Night,” featuring favorite Hasbro board games that become larger-than-life experiences where families compete for cash and prizes! The marathon will include episodes of several top-winning families featured on the series.
