Toonverse Channel Concept From: Subwoofer Noivern Category: Kids Channel Format: Web-Channel Name: Toonverse Origin of name: Toon (short form of the word “cartoon”) and Verse(part from the word “universe). Age Targeting: Kids/Teens, sometimes Adults. Slogan: Tis The Place Where Toons Live!
1. How the Idea Came From.
I created the idea for the channel due to multiple reasons.
1.Cable TV Decline. Mostly the idea came from due the reasons that cable television is dying. Mostly Cable TV was still alive during early 2010’s, but now is suffering from the ratings drop and show spamming, and pretty much barely anyone nowadays watch TV.
2.The Fall Of The Big 3. Back in a day, the Big 3 known as Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Disney Channel were dominating Kids TV during 90’s, 2000’s and pretty much early 2010’s. But what do we have now? Cartoon Network pretty much died during 2014, Nickelodeon died around in middle of 2010’s and Disney died during 2015(likely, I dunno). And I had an idea to create a channel that will fix all of these issues of this legendary trio.
3.Combining Toons From Past And The Future. The reason why many people liked OG Disney/CN/Nickelodeon, is because they created so many cartoons, that people like till this day.
From CN the biggest examples are Dexter’s Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls (The 1998 one, Not the 2016 one), Courage, Cow and Chicken etc. From 2000’s there were also some solid cartoons like Billy and Mandy, Foster’s, Chowder and the list goes on. 2010’s got not too many good cartoons, but the biggest examples from the last decade are The Amazing World Of Gumball, Adventure Time, We Bare Bears, you can still count’em all till the end of the day.
Now from Nick we having some Nicktoons from 90’s like Rugrats, Rocko’s Modern Life, Hey Arnold! etc. 2000’s had The Fairly Oddparents (Till season 4-5), Danny Phantom, Penguins Of Madagascar and others. And 2010’s got us The Loud House, Harvey Beaks… Sorry, running out of ideas…
And from Disney we have The Proud Family, Kim Possible, Phineas And Ferb, Gravity Falls, the list continues.
In conclusion, I wanted to make a channel in order to revive classic/retro trend.
And final reason why I have an idea to make a channel is…
4.The Death Of SMKB.
SMKB, also known as Saturday Morning Kids Block were the place to relax, but in 2014 the final kids block Vortexx died. You may also count KidsClick as actually the final block, but Vortexx was final major Saturday Kids Morning Block. And by fusing these inspirations, I created an ultimate kids channel… Its alive, ITS ALIVE!!!
Erm… sorry, had to play this reference…
2. The Schedule.
You may ask me, how can I make a perfect schedule? Here’s my ultimate schedule of my channel, so check it!
Weekdays. Early Mornings: Retro Block-a showing of classic 90’s cartoons from 7 till 10 AM (you can only choose cartoons no later than the year 2000). Each weekday will be dedicated to one channel.
Monday: Cartoon Network Tuesday: Nickelodeon Wednesday: Disney Thursday: Boomerang Friday: Fox Kids/Kids WB etc.
11AM-1PM-Regular Programming
2-3PM-Comedy block (Currently Unnamed)-Hour of cartoons with comedy genre.
4-6PM-Regular Programming
7-10PM-Primetime Fridays (Fridays Only)-A showing of Action Shows and Movies (Encores On Weekends)
10PM-6AM-Midnight Syndication.
Weekends. 7-10AM-Toon Cereal-Morning Cartoons just for You!
11AM-1PM-Regular Programming
2-3PM-Attack Of Anime (lol, had no other name suggestion)-An hour of Anime.
4-6PM-Regular Programming (Anime can be shown at that time too).
7-9/10PM-Toon Cinema-A Weekend Movie.
11PM-6AM-Midnight Programming.
Sunday got just a few changes including Friday Primetime Encores at 5PM (On Saturdays it'll be on 6:30PM),Additional Hour Of Anime And a special block called Monster Hour (Dedicated to Shows like Pokemon and their Look-Likes) That starts at 4PM and ends at 5PM. Oh, and also movie starts at 9PM.

The logo BTW, will be gray translucent logo, the mascot of the Channel will be Toonies, 9 letters from the logo, that came alive and causing mischief. They will also provide Next/Later bumpers and promos for the channel.
