Kāpiti site visit agenda – 19 November 2020 TIME LOCATION ACTIVITY ~ 9.45 am Paekākāriki: 1. Fisherman’s Table Restaurant arrival 2. Ames St and the Parade to surf life club (GWRC QEP parks plan and managed retreat) 3. QEP at Whareroa ~ 10.15 Raumati South: 4. Raumati South at Park entrance and revetment/seawall works 5. Rosetta Rd to Wharemauku Stream (private seawall proliferation) 6. Marine Parade and temporary block wall and revetment ~ 10.45 Paraparaumu: 7. Marine Parade and temporary block wall and revetment 8. Marine Parade north and maybe an access point to see stormwater drains 9. Kāpiti boat club ~ 11.45 Otaihanga: 10. Around to Waikanae Estuary and Otaihanga *12.30 – 1.30 LUNCH Kāpiti Coast District Council (note: high tide 1.30) ~ 1.45 Waikanae: 11. Waikanae and Waikanae River Mouth (north side) 12. Waimeha Stream and mouth ~ 2.45 Peka Peka: 13. Peka Peka Beach ~ 3.15 Te Horo: 14. Te Horo Beach and Mangaone Stream mouth ~ 3.45 Ōtaki: 15. Ōtaki River mouth and beach 16.
