Augsburg University CC Invitational Saturday, September 15, 2018 Meet Location: Hyland Greens Golf and Learning Center Address: 10100 Normandale Blvd. Bloomington, MN 55437 Race Times: Women’s 6K – 9:30am Men’s 8K – 10:30am Entries: Each team is allowed unlimited entries. Entries will be done online through Wayzata Results, Inc (http://www.wayzataresults.com/). Entries are due by Tuesday, September 11, at 12pm CST. Unattached or open athletes will also register on Wayzata Results. Please make checks payable to: Augsburg University Cross Country. Unattached athlete entry fee is $15.00. If you’d like to pay in advance, please mail checks to: Meghan Peyton – Augsburg University Cross Country 2211 Riverside Ave. CB: 313 Minneapolis, MN 55454 Packet Pick-up: Available starting at 7am Hyland Greens Clubhouse. Awards: Awards will be presented to the top 10 athletes in each event and will take place at 11:30am outside the clubhouse. Course: The course is mixture of gradual rolling hills and flat golf course. The men’s race will consist of a 2K loop (marked in green on map) and two 3K loops (marked in red), and the women’s race will consist of two 3K loops (marked in red). There is only one cart path that the athletes will cross twice. Spikes are recommended. Kilometer markers will be provided and split mats will also be used (exact locations TBD). Course Open Times: The course will be open for running starting on Saturday, September 15th at 7am. No dogs, unless a service dog, on the course. Course Maps: Please see attached. On the map the Women’s 1k, 2k, and 3k are marked. These also serve as the 4k, 5k, and 6k respectively. For the Men’s race, the 2k loop will be run first, followed by the two 3K loops. Sports Medicine: There will be athletic trainers available at the race site. They will be available with ice, general taping, etc and for any emergencies. There will also be water available for athletes. Dressing: There are no dressing or shower facilities at the golf course. Meet Director: Meghan Peyton – [email protected] Cell: (952) 212-4933 Team Parking: Team vans and buses are allowed to park in the Hyland Greens Golf Course Parking lot. Please note, that this parking lot will be closed to teams only. Spectator Parking: Spectators are allowed to park on the street surrounding the golf course along Nesbitt Ave. and 102nd St. There will also be parking available at Normandale Hylands United Methodist Church located at the north east corner of the golf course. Shuttles will run between the church parking lot and golf course entrance every 15 minutes. Restrooms: There will be portable toilets located in the parking lot of the golf course, about 100m from the start/finish line. Admission: Spectator admission to the event will be $5.00. Concessions: Concessions will be available outside the clubhouse. .
