Concrete throwing circle. Team Rooms: General Men’s and Women’s Changerooms Wifi: Complimentary Wifi is not available at the Toronto Track & Field Centre. However, teams may be able to access wifi through Eduroam, if supported by your home institution. 4.0 Parking Passenger vehicle parking is available in the Northwest Gate Lot situated directly west of the Toronto Track & Field Centre. The Founders Road East Lot, situated East of the Toronto Track and Field Centre, is also available. All public campus lots are pay and display lots, which are enforced 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Please ensure you place the authorization receipt in the vehicle window. Bus parking passes are $20 per day + tax, and must be pre-arranged. TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIP FEB. 21-22, 2020 | G2 5.0 Entry Fees & Deadlines Entry Fee $509 per gender (cost share of allowable expenses based on the entry fee chart). An invoice will be forwarded to each institution following the completion of the championship. Entry Deadline All entries must be received by Randolph Fajardo ([email protected]) Monday, February 17, 2020 @ 8:00pm. Meet entries submitted exclusively via Trackie. Upon receiving entries, Randolph Fajardo will confirm back to the source by email the entries that were received. Late entries will be accepted until Wednesday, February 19th @ 8pm or be subject to a fine ($100 per athlete, $200 per relay). Start List – First Draft On or before Tuesday, February 18th, 2020 @ 4pm, Randolph Fajardo will circulate, via email, the First Draft Start List for each event to include a maximum of 1 relay team per event per university, and 3 entries per individual event, per university. Where a University submits a 4th entry in an individual event, that entry will be listed by their seed ranking within the list. Final Declarations On or before Wednesday, February 19th, 2020 @ 8pm, all final declarations MUST be made of the final starts per event as well as a declaration of a team roster NOT to exceed entry limits listed in Rule 5.1. This is the last time any new entries can be submitted, subject to fine. Final Start List with Lane Assignments On or before Thursday, February 20th, 2020 @ 12pm, the final start list will be circulated via email. No additional entries can be made after this posting. 6.0 Team Registration and Eligibility As per the OUA Track & Field Rules and Regulations: a) Competition Standards I. OUA standards are based on uniform standards set for a period of two years. These standards will be based on the averages of the last 3 years performances and rounded off to the closest even number. The coaches’ committee will review the TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIP FEB. 21-22, 2020 | G2 standards every two years and adjust based on new averages. Events will be filled to the top; 16 competitors in track events, 12 competitions in the pentathalon, heptathlon and field events with or without standard to maintain a minimum field size. II. Universities with a 4th athlete ranked in the Sport Canada Top 15 as of the Monday prior to the OUA Championships may enter the athlete in the OUA Championship. The 4th finisher from the university will be a non-scorer. All events affected will be identified at the technical meeting. In the case of the horizontal jumps and throws, where the top 8 advancing to the finals includes non-scorers, additional athlete(s) will be added to the final three rounds to a maximum of 8 scoring positions. III. All entries to be used for the OUA Championship must be entered into the USports Track & Field Ranking System (or equivalent) by Monday at 11pm following competition in order to be used for seeding at the OUA Championship or be subject to a fine ($100 for athlete/$200 for relay). b) Competition Standards Guidelines: I. The maximum team complement 29 men and 29 women II. Two entries per university per event are permitted without standard; except relays which remain at one per university. III. A university may enter up to three athletes only if ALL three athletes have achieved the OUA standard in that given event IV. A school may enter 4 athletes in an event at the OUA Championships only if all 4 athletes are ranked in the USports Top 15 in that given event. This rule applies only to athletes ranked in the top 15 of the USports Track & Field ranking system by 4pm on the Monday immediately prior to the OUA Championships. V. Only three athletes from a school will be score. The first three finishers from a university in a given event will be declared the scorers (i.e. no declaration of who the scorers will be is necessary). For OUA standards, see Appendix V. All athletes must be posted on their respective institutional websites as required by the OUA Rules and Regulations. An e-mail copy of the Institutional Eligibility Certificate (Men & Women) are due Tuesday, January 21st, 2020. With Rugby A MESSAGE World Cup 2019 qualification on the line, our Canadian Men’s XV team generated an inspiring performance in the final repechage tournament, FROM THE solidifying their qualification to the RWC 2019 in Japan. Through hard work and determination, we upheld our record of participating in every CHAIRMAN RWC to-date and are proud of our team’s efforts in their qualification. Our National Men’s and Women’s Sevens Teams both qualified for Rugby World Cup Sevens in San Francisco and generated strong performances, finishing 12th and 7th, respectively. The tournament generated incredi- ble broadcast audiences and garnered increased exposure to the sport of rugby across North America. Additionally, World Rugby requested the secondment of eight Rugby Canada event staff to aid in the execution of Rugby World Cup Sevens. Both our participating National Teams and Rugby Canada event staff made our Nation proud and contributed to the most successful Rugby World Cup Sevens to-date. This past year saw the completion and grand opening of the Al Char- ron Rugby Canada National Training Centre.
