He has had such a challenging first year of priesthood. He had to or what the sheep can trust, deal with visa complications that required periods of being away. His Mom and Dad had to deal with whether shepherd or path, serious illness. For most newly ordained the highlight of your first year is Holy Week and Easter and leading the Lord’s followers he was met with an empty church. He is utterly convinced of the love of Jesus Christ. He radiates into a bountiful pasture. that conviction. He shepherds me to trust more in the power of Jesus’s love of us. As the good shepherd, the Fr. Barrett and I go way back. His life was a train wreck and when he met me in the seminary, I sheep hear, follow, flee false got him back on the track. Only kidding!
