Braille Bibles International Making a positive difference in the lives of visually impaired people by providing them access to God’s Holy Word.

Braille Bibles International is a non-profit organization that provides Bibles to blind people in Braille, Large Print and Audio formats. Some of these Bibles are provided at no cost while others are provided at low cost. Braille Bibles are available worldwide; however Large Print and Audio Bibles are only available to blind individuals in the United States. We require certification of blindness and reserve the right to limit the quantity and frequency of our services. Braille Bibles in Grade Two English Braille The 1611 Authorized King James Version is contained in 18 hard-cover volumes and requires 67 inches of shelf space. The New King James Version was completed in the early 1980’s by Thomas Nelson, Inc. and is contained in 20 hard-cover volumes and requires 76 inches of shelf space. Large Print The 18-point print Bible comes in either King James, New King James or Holman Christian Standard. It is contained in one volume and weighs about four pounds. The words of Jesus in the New Testament are printed in red. There is a concordance and Bible study helps in the back. Audio Bibles The Bible on a digital cartridge is available for the Digital talking book players that are provided by The Library of Congress National Library Service for the Blind (www.loc.gov/nls). We currently offer a King James Version, English Standard Version and the New Living Translation. Pocket Bibles are also available. This small hand-held device has both an internal speaker and a headphone jack. Its navigation buttons allow you to move forwards and backwards by both book and chapter. The Pocket Bibles come with an AC Adaptor. We offer 2 models of the Pocket Bible: a single version player and a dual version player.
