Mark Katz Career Summary Senior Managing Director Office Head Mr. Katz is a Senior Managing Director and co-head of the Denver office of HFF with more than 19 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. He joined HFF in 2012 as a member of its Chicago office focused primarily on office investment advisory transactions throughout the Midwest. In the summer of 2016, Mr. Katz transitioned to HFF Denver, where he is responsible for office and retail investment advisory transactions throughout the western United States, as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office. Additionally, he is responsible for helping to grow the entire investment advisory platform throughout the western region. Since joining the firm, Mr. Katz has closed more than $5.5 billion of investment sales transactions.

Prior to joining HFF, Mr. Katz was a Co-Founder and Partner at Gemstone Real Estate Partners, where he specialized in the acquisition of office and industrial buildings in the Midwest. Prior to Gemstone, he helped grow the Suburban Office Advisory Group at Colliers International. Mr. Katz began his career at CB Richard Ellis, where he was a member of one of the top leasing teams in Chicago.
