PROFESSIONAL PROFILE Michael A. Kavanau Career Summary Senior Managing Director Mr. Kavanau is a Senior Managing Director and co-head of the London office of HFF (NYSE: Co-Head London Office HF) with more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, including debt, investment advisory and equity placement. He is primarily responsible for originating debt transactions throughout the U.K., as well as being responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm’s London office. Mr. Kavanau’s focus is on multi-housing, office, retail and hotel properties. Throughout the course of his career with HFF, Mr. Kavanau has completed in excess of $20 billion in commercial real estate transactions. Mr. Kavanau joined the firm in 1988. Prior to HFF, he was the Director of Acquisitions for Concord Assets Group.
