Cosmic Evolution in the Bible Evolve: from Latin evolvere "to unroll; to unfold, produce, create, develop, open out, expand (as in vulva).” h Adam Kadmon בראשית ברא אלהים Atziluth ( את השמים ואת Briah הארץ # Beresheet Bara refer to Kether (crown) and Chokmah (wisdom) Yetzirah m Elohim to Binah Ath to Gedulah and Geburah Assiah Hashamayim to Tiphereth Ve-Ath to Netzach, Hod and Yesod Ha-Aretz to Malkuth Klipoth The water proceeds from the air, the air from the fire and fire from the water. And the Ruach Elohim moved upon the face of the The Ruach Elohim is the intelligence Waters. that shapes the substance of fire, water and earth. “When Aelohim wished to create, threw over its radiance a veil and in its pleats it cast its shadow. From this shadow there arose giants who said: "We are Malachim," but they were nothing more than phantoms. They appeared because Aelohim had hidden itself by creating darkness within chaos; they disappeared when there was brought forth in the east that luminous head, that glowing head that humanity gives itself by proclaiming the existence of Aelohim, the sun [Solar Absolute, the Ain Soph Aur], governor of our aspirations and our thoughts. The Elohim are mirages made of shadow, and Aelohim is the synthesis of splendors [Zohar]. Usurpers fall away when the king [sexually] mounts his throne [wife], and when [the light of] Aelohim appears, the Elohim are banished.” - Zohar “Thus, when Aelohim had permitted the darkness to exist, in order that the stars [the Elohim] might appear, he turned towards the shadow he had made and considered it, to give it a face.

Without guidance, this is usually impossible. Therefore, lowe my biggest thanks to Peter and Laura Yorke of Ra Horakhty Temple, who provided my first exposure to self-initiation techniques in the Golden Dawn. Their years of expe rience with the Golden Dawn material yielded a structure of carefully selected ex ercises, which their students still use today to bring about a gradual transformation. WIthout such well-prescribed use of the Golden Dawn's techniques, it would have been difficult to make progress in its grade system. The basic structure of the course in this book is built on a foundation of the Golden Dawn's elemental grade system as my teachers passed it on. In particular, it develops further their choice to use the color correspondences of the Four Worlds, a piece of the original Golden Dawn system that very few occultists have recognized as an ini tiatory tool.

  • PASSAGE PROCESSES by Martin Skála Prague, Czech Republic
PASSAGE PROCESSES by Martin Skála Prague, Czech Republic Individual Member IAAP Developing Group ČSAP Martin Skála | IM IAAP, DG ČSAP | 1 Psychopompos.cz | Prague, Czech Republic This contribution deals with archetypal process of passage or deep psychic crises. A link among several disorders occurring on the threshold of adulthood, rites of initiation and the individuation process will be suggested. I will offer a term “initiation process” which takes place on the threshold of adulthood. The initiation process is similar but different from the individuation process elaborated by Jung. A case vignette will clarify particularity of the initiation process. Then the individuation and the initiation process will be compared to Basal Perinatal Matrices elaborated on by Grof. I will suggest a term “passage processes” as a superordinate concept for all similar archetypal processes when one´s life is completely changed in all possible meanings. In the end I will summarize my understanding of human development in four Worlds (Womb, Family, Adulthood and Transpersonal Dimension in an old age) which are connected by five passage processes (Conception, Birth, Initiation, Individuation and Death). Martin Skála | IM IAAP, DG ČSAP | 2 Psychopompos.cz | Prague, Czech Republic Introduction Jung extended developmental psychology to the second part of human’s life by elaborating his theory of the individuation process (Edinger, 1968). He built this theory on the base of his own experience which he called Nekyia – "the night journey on the sea ... descent into the belly of the monster (a journey to hell)", or Katabasis - descent into the lower world (Jung, CW 05). In 1913, when he was 38 he had many anxious dreams and visions which are elaborated on in his Red Book.

  • An Exploration of the Sephiroth in Masonic Symbolism Fr
An Exploration of the Sephiroth in Masonic Symbolism Fr. Ernest R. Spradling, Vll 0 A very senior Freemason once lamented about the younger generation of Brothers, who were exploring the mystical in Freemasonry, it being only a social club. I really don't agree with that sentiment, and given what I have experienced over the years, I know fully that our gentle Craft is imbued with mystical spirituality that has accumulated since the first Lodge was founded. After all, everything in this Fraternity is, in a larger sense, a microcosm of the life led on this plane: if spirituality is found in all THE LORD's Creation, why would there not be some form of the spiritual in the workings of the Fraternity? I have experienced occasional "glimmers" of the Light, through various gradations in the Craft, when the conditions were right; this set me on this study of various mystical "trailblazers" that have been evident, and not-so-evident, in the Craft's symbolism. Being ever mindful of the admonition in the 32"d Degree of the Scottish Rite (Southern Jurisdiction, U.S.A.): "To know how to classify shells, flowers, and insects is not wisdom any more than it is wisdom to know the titles of books" I must state for the record that, as Heinlein's protagonist put it in the novel, "Stranger in a Strange Land", "I am onJy an egg", I do not profess to have the knowledge of the Adepts, despite the occasional "glimmers" I've experienced over the years. A lot of this probably is old ground for some readers.

  • Dion Fortune and Her Inner Plane Contacts: Intermediaries in the Western Esoteric Tradition
1 Dion Fortune and her Inner Plane Contacts: Intermediaries in the Western Esoteric Tradition Volume 1 of 2 Submitted by John Selby to the University of Exeter as a thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Theology June 2008 This thesis is available for Library use on the understanding that it is copyright material and that no quotation from this thesis may be published without proper acknowledgement. I certify that all material in this thesis which is not my own work has been identified and that no material has been previously submitted and approved for the award of a degree at this or any other University. 2 _________________________ Abstract Whereas occultists of the standing of H. P. Blavatsky, Annie Besant, C. W. Leadbeater, and especially Aleister Crowley have been well served by academic enquiry and by published accounts of their lives and work, Violet Evans, neé Firth (aka ‘Dion Fortune’), has suffered comparative neglect, as has her concept of the ‘Masters’ who inspired and informed her work. These factors, alongside the longevity of her Society of the Inner Light (still flourishing), are the catalysts for my embarking on this thesis. Chapter 1 discusses the method of approach, covers Fortune’s definitions of frequent occult terms, and compares observations of her work by fellow occultists and outside observers. Chapter 2 is a comprehensive review of mainly recent academic research into the role of intermediaries in magic and religion from ancient times, and serves as a background to Fortune’s own esoteric philosophy, showing that she was heir to a tradition with a long history.

  • THE SECRET WISDOM of the QABALAH a Study in Jewish Mystical Thought
THE SECRET WISDOM OF THE QABALAH A Study in Jewish Mystical Thought By J. F. C. FULLER Author of “YOGA: A Study of the Mystical Philosophy of the Brahmins and Buddhists” “The Beings who live Below, say that God is on High; while the Angels in Heaven, say that God is on Earth.”-ZOHAR. AGNZ Secret Wisdom of the Qabalah page 2 PREFACE This small book is in no sense a treatise on the Qabalah. Instead, it is a speculative study on one of several secret doctrines which it contains, and, I believe, the key-doctrine of all the others. Should this be correct, then it follows that, unless this doctrine is understood, the whole symbolism of Jewish mysticism must remain obscure, and it is this mysticism, so it seems to me, which constitutes the foundations of Jewish culture and Jewish aspirations. Granted that this is so, then it follows that the idea elaborated in this book is one of considerable importance, even if many of my interpretations are faulty. Even if the whole of my readings are wrong, which is unlikely, this in itself does not necessarily invalidate the idea. For example: Columbus believed that the world was round and he set out to prove it. In doing so he discovered a new world, which, though it did not at the time actually confirm this idea, established a stepping-stone to the circumnavigation of the globe, which did confirm it in an obvious and uncontradictable way. So also in this book, I have set out to penetrate the mists of Qabalistic learning, not because I presume to be an adept in its mysteries, but because I suspect that they hide within them the idea of a new world conception, an idea which for 2000 years has been struggling to take form.

  • Kabbalah-Map-Of-Creation.Pdf
The Map of Creation Gnostic Muse The Tree of Life is a map of the higher and lower dimensions of the universe, used in the study of Kabbalah. The Tree of Life shows a macrocosm and microcosm within the human being. The Tree shows us the path to discover God within ourselves, and the many facets of God. The roots of the Tree of Life are in the Ain, the Limitless, the Absolute, from where all manifestation emanates. Divine energy descends into creation and at the same time creates and forms each sephirah, “jewel” or “womb”. Like water overflowing from a fountain, each world becomes denser than the last, heavier and with more laws. https://www.gnosticmuse.com The Map of Creation Gnostic Muse The diagram of the Tree of Life is arranged as follows: Ten Sephiroth Ten sephirah arranged in a cascading pattern from the highest heaven to earth. Kether, Chokmah, Binah, Chesed, Geburah, Tiphareth, Netsach, Hod, Yesod, and Malkuth. Also the mysterious hidden sephirah Daath. Twenty-two Pathways The pathways connect the sephiroth, each corresponding with one of the 22 major arcana of the Tarot. The sephiroth themselves are pathways making thirty-two paths in total. Three Triads The three triads consist of nine of the ten sephiroth. Three Columns The three column represent Mercy, Justice, and Equilibrium. https://www.gnosticmuse.com The Map of Creation Gnostic Muse Thirteen Dimensions The different dimensions of the universe ascending in levels of increasing rarity, descending in levels of increasing density. The Absolute The unmanifested reality from where the Tree descends, and which has three components: the Ain, the Ain Soph, and the Ain Soph Aur.

Terry, 1899] Apollos looked out of the small oval window of the airplane. Down below, in the midst of the Aegean Sea, he noticed a cluster of islands, the Dodecanese. The northernmost of the twelve (“dodeca”) islands looked like a tiny dot in the ocean of space. Sophia leaned her head on Apollos’ shoulder and reflected on their journey up and down the Nile River, which took them five months to complete. Apollos had convinced Simon that the mysteries of Egypt, which Pythagoras, Plato, and Apollonius had mastered, could only be understood by personally following in the footsteps of Apollonius. Sophia felt the entire time like she was the Egyptian Isis on a pilgrimage to recover the fourteen scattered pieces of her consort Osiris as they stopped at each of the sacred sites. Simon sat behind Apollos and wondered if he would have enough money from the church coffers to pay for the rest of the trip.
