Le Domaine Forget is located 150 km east of Quebec City . Here are some travel options to help you in your route planning.

For most sessions, arrival day is expected on Sunday and activities will begin on Monday morning (see your session page for the exact arrival and departure dates).

In short... PLANE | TAXI | BUS 1. Landing at Jean-Lesage International Quebec Airport YQB (arrival BEFORE 1 PM if possible).

2. From the airport, taxi to Sainte-Foy Intercar Bus Station | Around 25 min. or at Québec downtown Gare du Palais | Around 35 min. Flat rate: $34.25

3. Chartered Intercar bus to Domaine Forget on the first day of the session only *. Vous devez acheter votre billet au comptoir d’Intercar.

Departure at 2:30 PM from Sainte-Foy Bus Station OR at 3:00 PM from Gare du Palais (Québec downtown) towards Saint-Irénée (Domaine Forget). Length 2 hours. Cost: $32.94 tx. incl. (student) / $38.69 tx. incl. (adult) Arrival 5:00 PM.

Chartered Intercar bus - From June 30 th to July 31 st only *Intercar chartered bus: June 5, June 19, July 3, July 17 and July 31, 2016 .

BY PLANE

Quebec City Jean-Lesage International Airport (code YQB) The Jean-Lesage International Quebec Airport is your best port of arrival while traveling by plane. If possible try to arrive by 1:00 PM at the latest on the arrival day of your session. This will allow ample time to get to the St. Foy bus terminal to board the 2:30 PM bus to St. Irénée (or 3 PM from the downtown terminal - Gare du Palais terminal) This bus is used exclusively to transport arriving students to Domaine Forget at these dates only: June 5, June 19, July 3, July 17 and July 31, 2016. The cab fare from the airport is $34,25 CDN (flat rate) for a 25 minute drive approximately.

Missed the bus?

Should you miss this bus, you will need to spend the night at the University Laval dorms or in one of the hotels near the airport . Please advise us if you will be late, call 418-452-8113 extension 21222 or email us. We will inform your teachers.

For your information, arriving by bus or train, from Montreal or from Toronto, Via Rail Canada is located in the same building as Intercar | Orleans Express terminal in Québec City Gare du Palais.

BY CAR (from Montréal to Québec to St-Irénée)

• From Montréal, 40-east or 20-east towards Québec City then towards Sainte-Anne-de- Beaupré /QC 138 E. • Continue on 138 E • At Baie-St-Paul entrance, take the 362 E exit from QC-138 E. towards Les Éboulements • Follow Route 362 until St-Irénée (32,8 km) • Le Domaine Forget is just past the wharf. Turn left on Saint-Antoine St.

DEPARTURE AND GOING BACK

Departure is scheduled on the last day of your session. Domaine Forget organizes a shuttle service (school bus) to the Quebec Airport and Gare du Palais bus terminal for the following sessions only: Brass, Chamber Music, Collaborative Piano, Dance, Guitar, Solo Piano, Strings, Voice & Vocal Accompaniment and Woodwinds. Fare: $40 CDN

A light breakfast will be available before the 7:30 AM departure. The shuttle arrives at the airport around 10:00 AM and at the downtown bus terminal around 10:15 AM

Students wishing to take this shuttle can book while at le Domaine Forget and pay with cash, credit card or debit card. The shuttle will leave at the scheduled time. No refunds possible after departure.

For all other departures towards Quebec, please consult the bus schedule below. We will be pleased to help you reserve a cab to take you to the La Malbaie terminal. It’s best to reserve it ahead of time.
