As the old commercial says, “You’ve come a long way, Baby!” As we reflect back on the few years we have been associated with this fine organization, we are both amazed and proud of what has been accomplished; but we are even more proud to have been a part of it. We want to thank all of the past officers and committee chairmen of the executive commit- tee that have devoted so much of their time and talent over the years. Without these fine folks, we would not be celebrating our 25th Anniversary. For all of you that have taken time to join us in this special celebration we are so glad that you are here. All of the past officers and committee people, we are especially glad that you are here. We appreciate the invited guests being here. We hope that you will enjoy the meeting and celebration that we are having. If any of you have any ques- tions about the United Square Dancers of America and its programs or if you just need general information, do not hesitate to ask any of us on the executive committee. Let me invite and encourage you to join us Friday night in Ballroom A for our After Party. We are inviting the entire family of dancers to our After Party (Mama, Poppa, Grandma, Grandpa and the kids) for this special dance. We hope that you enjoy the special handouts that are here at the meeting and we will have others at the after party. The time for the after party is from 10pm until midnight. It has been our extreme pleasure to serve as your President of the United Square Dancers of America this year.
