Series to Date/Streaks: The Dragons have won the first two games of this series, prevailing Tuesday 3-2 and winning last night 4-1. Overall, the Dragons have won seven straight games (they have not lost a game since April 7). Last Game: Wednesday: Dayton 4, South Bend 1. The Dragons scored three runs in the first inning, keyed by a two-run home run by John Sansone, and four Dragons pitchers combined to allow just five hits. Austin Orewiler earned the win with four and two-thirds innings of long relief after a one hour, 33 minute rain delay. Sarkis Ohanian pitched a perfect ninth inning for his second save. Hunter Green started for Dayton and went two and one-third innings before the rain delay, allowing no runs on three hits with one walk and three strikeouts. South Bend as an Opponent: With wins in the first two games of this series with South Bend, the Dragons have clinched their first series win against South Bend since May of 2015.
