 Certificate The Independence Day celebration, is a day when celebrates her  100% Attendance attainment of the precious human desire - Freedom. Each year, the St. Saviour’s School community expresses its freedom to celebrate this historical event. We  Book Donation truly look forward to this remarkable time of the year. Indeed, it was the greatest highlight of our week and certainly exceeded expectations.  Notices The day began with an outpour of rain which did not dampen the spirit of our children and staff at  Independence Day Gallery all, as they came to school with cheerful faces and gorgeous outfits.

Children came dressed in attire that represented states from the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria: North-West, South-East, South-West, North-Central, South-South and North-East. The school was KEY DATES transformed into a kaleidoscope of colours of different Nigerian attires, to celebrate the 58th year of Nigeria’s independence. Without a doubt, there is strength in diversity! st The atmosphere was engulfed with sounds of Nigerian music which made children jig as they  1 Oct. 2018: Public sauntered in. What a joy! Holiday The day began with the traditional flag raising ceremony, National Anthem and Pledge. Later on,  3rd Oct. 2018: Day there was a bountiful feast of Nigerian delicacies for the children to enjoy. Many thanks to the PTA and parents for providing the food and serving the children. The day was crowned with delightful Waterman College Talk year group presentations in The Quadrangle. The children performed a variety of dances from 8:05am (Y 3 – Y 6 Parents) Nigeria’s rich history and culture. We are at our best when we work together! Whilst preparing for the celebrations, the children have been able to increase their knowledge of the geography, history  4th Oct. 2018: PTA General and culture of Nigeria. Meeting (8:05am) The learning journey begins at St. Saviour’s School Ikoyi and provides a foundation for life - an opportunity to achieve great things. At St. Saviour’s, we harness the unrelenting determination,  5th Oct. 2018: BOT meets internal strength and unconquerable spirit that the children of an possess. new parents (Cocktail) There are certainly no limits to what they can achieve if they are hard-working, dedicated and 5:30pm supported. Indeed, we prepare our children for that world stage through the quality of education we provide at St. Saviour’s. UK Boarding School Head Teachers’ Talk Please be reminded that the UK Boarding School Head Teachers will be having a talk with Key Stage 2 parents on Friday, 5th October 2018 in the school hall at 8.05am. Please come along.

Upcoming UK Boarding School Exhibition The UK Boarding School Exhibition holds on Saturday, 6th October 2018 from 11:00am – 4:00pm and on Sunday, 7th October 2018 from 11:00am – 3:00pm at the Wheatbaker Hotel, 4 Onitolo Road, Ikoyi . This exhibition provides an ideal opportunity for families to meet representatives from 20 of the top UK boarding schools to find out what they have to offer and how to gain admission.

KS2 Inter House Spelling Bee Competition All Key Stage 2 children are expected to wear their P.E. uniform for the Interhouse Spelling Bee Competition holding on Thursday 4th October 2018.

Lagos Kids Mini Marathon November 3rd 2018 We kindly ask parents to encourage and assist your children in raising funds for the marathon by filling their pledge forms. Kids Rugby Tester Camp Kindly note, the Kids Rugby Tester Camp is on Sunday 30th September 2018 at the Lagos Polo Club, Ikoyi. Session starts at 11:00am – 12:00 noon and 2:00pm – 3:00pm. Fee: N10,000 per child (includes certificate, snack and t-shirt).
