HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assem bly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:

1. Section 14 of the Constitution Act is amended by striking out "fif ty-five" and substituting "57".
Commencement 2. This Ac»- come- into force on the day on which the thirty-first Leg islative Assembly is dissolved.

thence in a general south-westerly direc tion along the sa; middle line of the Fraser River to a point due north of the north-west corner of the South-east quarter of Section 19, Township 4, Range 27, West of the Sixth Meridian; thence due south to said north west corner and continuing southerly along the westerly boundary of the South-east quarter of Section 19 to the south-west corner thereof; thence due south to a point due west of the south-west corner of Section 8, Town ship 4, Range 27, West of the Sixth Meridian; thence due east to the point of intersection with the westerly boundary of the watershed of Silverhope Creek; thence in a general southerly direction following the said boundary of the watershed of Silverhope Creek to the point of intersection with the summit of the Cascade Mountains as defined for administrative purposes in the Interpretation Act, Statutes of British Columbia, 1974, chapter 42; thence in a general southerly direction along the said summit of the Cas cade Mountains to the 49th parallel of north latitude; thence westerly along the said parallel to the aforesaid westerly boundary of the water shed of Ashnola River, being the point of commencement shall constitute one electoral district, to be designated "Yale-Lillooet Electoral District".
