SLOUGH TOWN SUPPORTERS A small band of us visit the Minehead beer festival and try to drop in and catch a Minehead match if they are at home that particular weekend. In recollection of three tremendous FA Trophy cup ties between Slough Town and Minehead in the late seventies, Slough eventually won the 2nd Replay after three great cup ties to remember. In one match Slough had former wicket-keeper Graham Roope in goal. In recent years both clubs have dropped down the leagues - Slough currently play in the Southern Central League. We all hope that both clubs, who were both major non league forces in the late seventies, start climbing those leagues again very soon. Minehead AFC - (Errea Somerset County Premier League) Page 5
