Youth Team News with Malcolm Kiely CITIZENS WGC youth team have been badly affected this season by the wet weather and to date have only played four league games meaning they face a backlog to finish the campaign.

Of the four games played so far they have won 3 and lost the other. They kicked off the season with a 4-2 victory over and a hugh 13-0 home victory over St Margaretsbury. This was followed up by a 0-5 loss at home to Takeley and a 2-1 Victory away at .

The youth went through three rounds of the FA Youth Cup, the first being a narrow 6-5 home win over Take- ley followed by a thumping 6-2 away victory at Braintree.

They exited the cup on a wet and windy night away to Jess Walklin receives his player of the Aveley with a narrow 2-1 defeat.
