Keywords: Cyclone, flood, Regional Recovery, severe weather, storms, Western Australia, local government Abstract: The Local Government Areas (LGA) have been declared eligible disaster areas activated under the joint Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) due to the flooding and wind damage caused by Severe Tropical Cyclone Seroja in south-west Western Australia, 11-12 April 2021. Example Map: Image showing the 2021 Eastern Australia storms and flooding areas Lineage Statement: Boundaries were created by the National Drought and North Queensland Flood Response and Recovery Agency using the 2018 Local Government Areas (LGAs) formally defined by the 2020/21 DRFAWA Eligible Disaster Proclamation Notification for Severe Tropical Cyclone Seroja (11-12 April 2021). Severe Tropical Cyclone Seroja was proclaimed an eligible disaster under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements Western Australia on 14 April 2021.
