12 Game recaps 9 & 10

Game 9 Colorado 17, Texas A&M 24 COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Trent Hunter intercepted his second pass of the game with a little over two minutes left on the clock to thwart a late Colorado comeback attempt and clinch the Aggies’ second straight Big 12 win. Hunter and the Aggie defense played well all afternoon by tying a season low 17 points allowed and forcing three crucial turnovers. The Aggie defense was particularly good in the second half when they allowed only 7 points and forced the Buffaloes to go 0 for 6 on third down conversions. The Aggies trailed 10-3 at half but 21 third quarter points put the game out of reach. Sophomore quarterback Jerrod Johnson again paced an efficient of- fensive attack by throwing for 214 yards and three touchdowns. The freshman phenom receiving duo of Jeff Fuller and Ryan Tannehill had another strong Saturday by combining for 11 catches for 175 yards and three touchdowns. Starting in place of the injured Mike Goodson, true freshman running back Cyrus Gray set a career-high with 72 rushing yards on nine carries.
