Package II CHRYSO®Cure ST1 India Km 43/000 to km 96/714 of NH 47,from Kerala/Tamilnadu Border to Kanyakumari )and km 0/000 to km16/376 of NH 47B from Nagercoil to Kavalkinaru)70.36 Includes existing NH 47 4.013 km and NH 47B 0.60km. The projects are scheduled to be completed in 24 months and involve cumulative construction of 113 Km of four lane dual carriage way with concrete pavement, one major bridge, 33 minor bridges, three railway over bridges and 23 vehicular and cattle underpasses. The over all project budgeted Rs.1078 Cr. 2019 THE BENEFITS The overall concrete volume requirement of 800,000 Cu.M was needed for this project, out of which PQC segments having a volume approx. 500000 Cu.M and Structural Concrete (Pile, Pile cab & Bridge Griders) segment having a volume approx. 300000 Cu.M. The PQC had more challenges due to the Strength (Flextural) and Workability Larsen & Toubro considerations (2hrs – 50mm). The Elevated construction had structures like diaphragm wall, pre-cast segments, slabs and the grade of concrete ranges from M-35 (Pile & Pile Cab) to M-45 (Bridge Girder) respectively. Chryso® HP 6180 is one of Chryso’s robust admixtures achieving remarkable strength results with a Compression Testing as 68Mpa @ 28 days. Further, the combination of Copper Slag with low W-C ratio made the customer further satisfied. To supplement this, the precast concrete structure has proved Chryso’s product performance by giving target strength of 56 Mpa at 7 Days with good retention and the Chryso’s Chryso® HS © CHRYSO 2021/09/26 3287 Product performance by giving homogeneous mix with 50mm @ 2hrs in M40 PQC grade concrete mix. And achieving remarkable Strength results with a Flexural Testing as 7Mpa @ 28 days.
