Sanjay Goel Is the Chief Executive Officer of PL Engineering and Has Sanjay Goel Chief Executive Officer Sanjay Goel is the Chief Executive Officer of PL Engineering and has the responsibility of providing strategic direction to the Company to develop it into a global engineering design and consultancy firm. An alumni of Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in India, Sanjay Goel, graduated with a BE Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1979. Prior to assuming his current role as CEO in 2006, Sanjay Goel was with Genpact Global (GE Capital International Services prior to 2005), providing leadership to five different businesses in Genpact’s portfolio; Industrial & Equipment services, Analytics, IT Managed Services, Software and Content Development. Sanjay Goel began his career in Manufacturing with the Indian Telephone Industries and in 1982, joined Eicher Mitsubishi Motors where he spent 14 years of his career in manufacturing, engineering and sourcing before taking up the position of General Manager, Operations. In 1996, he joined General Electric as Head of Operations with GE Lighting India. Two years later, he moved to Indonesia as Vice President, Operations with GE Lighting Asia Pacific. In June 1999 Sanjay was named the Managing Director of GE Power Controls India, he steadily moved up the ladder to assume increasing responsibilities. As President & CEO, GE Industrial System’s India Business Center at Hyderabad, he was engaged in the engineering design and software development for several GE businesses. After joining Punj Lloyd Group, Sanjay Goel was instrumental in the incorporation of PL Engineering. His vast work experience of over 30 years at senior positions in esteemed organizations, his involvement in setting up engineering and knowledge off-shore centers and his in-depth knowledge of various domains of Automotive, Engineering, among others will be valuable to PL Engineering in its business areas. He is also a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt with rich experience in deployment of Lean in manufacturing and service industry. His hobbies include traveling, reading and swimming..
