3) The Nimbus will only work with games and applications and provide MFi controller support. There is a list of compatible games included in the SteelSeries Nimbus Companion App which is linked below. There are also lists of games with MFi support available on the web, but we cannot guarantee their accuracy.
You can download the Nimbus Companion App here.
Will the Nimbus Wireless controller work with a Macbook?
The Nimbus is classified as an MFi controller, as opposed to a typical "gamepad" that one might consider an Xbox or PlayStation controller to be. Because of this, developers need to include support for this controller type by including a framework during the development process that allows an app to read user input from the controller. Games that are cross-platform typically do not include support for these types of custom controls, and you will be able to get much better details about support for MFi controllers by reaching out to the developers of the game or app you are trying to use and asking them.
Is the Stratus compatible with iOS10?
Yes! The SteelSeries Stratus Gaming Controller is now compatible with iOS 10.
To enable compatibility, a firmware update is required.
To do the firmware update, please follow the steps below:

2. Please visit steelseries.com/downloads and find the appropriate Firmware Update tool for your system.
3. Download and run the firmware update application.
4. Follow the steps in the application to complete the firmware update.
How do I check if a game is compatible with the Nimbus Wireless?

There is a list of compatible games included in the SteelSeries Nimbus Companion App which can be found here . There are also lists of games with MFi support available on the web, but we cannot guarantee their accuracy.
How do I update my Nimbus Wireless controller?
To ensure that your Nimbus Wireless is always update to date with the latest firmware, we recommend that you download the Nimbus Companion App on the Apple app Store. The companion app includes a firmware update tool that will keep your controller up to date.
What iOS games are compatible with the Stratus Wireless Gaming Controller?
Please note that this list is only partially complete, due to the sheer amount of games that are being added to the app store on a regular basis. If your particular game is not listed on here it is likely still compatible with our controller. If you would like to be absolutely certain, contact the developer for confirmation.
