Presse / 2002 / "Ladykracher" with Anke Engelke wins German Television Award On Saturday, October 5, 2002, the Fourth Annual German Television Award (Deutsche Fernsehpreis) was awarded at a glamour-filled gala celebration at the Cologne Coloneum. Anke Engelke – who was nominated twice in the "Best Comedy" category – was presented with the coveted trophy for the successful sketch-comedy show, "Ladykracher. On Saturday, October 5, 2002, the Fourth Annual German Television Award (Deutsche Fernsehpreis) was awarded at a glamour-filled gala celebration at the Cologne Coloneum. Anke Engelke – who was nominated twice in the "Best Comedy" category – was presented with the coveted trophy for the successful sketch-comedy show, "Ladykracher. In taking the award, "Ladykracher" won out over "Blind Date 2" (ZDF Television – starring Anke Engelke and Olli Dietrich) and "headnut.tv" (ProSieben Television). The presentation of the German Television award was broadcast on October 6 at 8:15 p.m. on the ARD Television network. Following this spectacular success, the excitement continues: "Ladykracher" has received three nominations for the German Comedy Award (Deutscher Comedypreis). The first nomination is for the "Ladykracher" program itself as "Best Comedy Show", the second for Anke Engelke as "Best Comedienne", and the third nomination can be claimed by actor Christoph Maria Herbst in the "Best Supporting Role" category. The RTL Television award gala will be broadcast on October 19, 2002 at 9:15 p.m.. "Ladykracher"’s second season has been running since September 27, 2002, every Friday evening at 10:15 on SAT 1 Television. The sketch-comedy show reaches an average audience of more than 2.9 million, with a market share of 19.2% among viewers aged 14-49.
