We will travel by bus to the beautiful farms of Skårs Gård and Äskhult Village. Skårs Gård The farm is family-owned and dates back to the early 19th century. Some 100 years ago there was a post- office and grocery store on the farm, which also was a meeting point for the locals and tourists. Today’s visitors can enjoy home-made brunches, bread, cakes, waffles and ice-cream. A delight for both your eyes and taste buds. Apart from lunch and refreshments, we will have the pleasure of participating in the seminar, “Let your mind bloom” - an inspirational presentation of how you can influence your brain’s chemistry, structure and plasticity with simple everyday tips, passion for life and good food. The seminar is followed by a workshop where you can test your creative abilities and activate all your senses. Äskhult Village - consists of four farms with buildings dating from early 1600s to the mid 1850s. Despite the 19th century agrarian reforms, the farms still remain on their original locations, which is unique for Sweden. We will walk along the picturesque park to the village, which has remained virtually intact since the 18th century. 4.00 pm Return to the hotel at around 4 pm.
