Also, provide parking and earn from these spaces instead of collecting fines. Being in a social work field many elderly complain that they feel unsafe to walk on them. Wasting on digging of new concrete should be avoided. Water charges should be reduced. The commercial buildings in Surathkal do not have toilets, due to (West) which the employees there come to the neighboring residential areas to urinate all the time 2. The roads that have been constructed are dug up now and then, thereby wasting public funds. 3. The roads are constructed without proper storm-water drains which will lead to artificial flooding 4. The city corporation should make some special events for the youths were they will be interested in public service during the construction work of concrete damar public uses the Corporator has to take the help of the public. Multilevel parking at Hampankatte, cornice road all sides of netravati and gurupur rivers in the city limits, digital signals and CCTV camera at all junctions, elevated corridor between jyoti and State Bank, road bridge at Sultana battery to tanner bhavi, metro between suratkal and deralakatte via city. Ward 9 - Kulai Please take strict decision against clean city Ward 33 - Kadri 1. More trees. 2. Rain water usage instead of letting it to the sea 3. Traffic (South) lane discipline Ward 22 - Kadri If anyone wants Mangalore city to grow, the city should never sleep first (Padavu) of all. Mangalore should be open 24*7 in selected areas, may be from kottara entry to jeppina mogeru entry as a business area, one side of the highway as business district. Police should work in shifts, you never ask inputs or advice from Police dept in keeping city open for 24*7 as they will object for sure. Because, they don't want to take any risk nor they want to work 24*7 in shifts. City is considered full pledged city only when it operates 24*7. Bars should close at 12 midnight and people who drink and create public nuisance should be punished with hefty fines or jail up to six months. All the best. Ward 56 - Focus should be on creating jobs by getting more companies to our city Mangaladevi and develop beaches to attract more tourists to our city. Ward 23 - Please work on street lights as well as they provide so much support for Derebail (East) people working after dark /night. More CCTV cameras or roads , safety and security Ward 32 - Kadri City must look more attractive by giving public awareness and keeping (North) city neat and clean. City bus facility - for a person from Kuntikana to KPT or Kadri or Bejai Church is not available. People dumping wastes on either sides of NH, mainly between Kuntikhana and KPT must be tracked through CCTV and many more such options needed Ward 22 - Kadri There should be high importance towards beach development. Look at (Padavu) Padubidri beach and look at M’lore beaches. Beaches should be highly commercialised in order to generate tourism revenue and employment opportunities. Mlore beaches are not upto standards in any ways. Need to give space to public and toilets, eateries, changing room and entertainment on the beaches.
