Pegawai Kemajuan Negeri Perak Kita terus bertuah pada tahun ini kerana PPANPk antara jabatan - yang dilantik sebagai Jabatan Angkat untuk Kontinjen Sabah di PARA Pengarah Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Perak SUKMA XIX PERAK 2018. Ini memperlihatkan kepercayaan kerajaan Tuan Haji Zairuddin Mat Zuini negeri dalam memberikan kerjasama melalui acara-acara di peringkat Pengarah Jabatan Kemajuan Masyarakat Negeri Perak negeri. Kali ini, jabatan telah menjemput Dr Zubaidah selaku Ketua Audit Dalam EKSA, Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Perak. Tujuan taklimat ini diadakan adalah untuk refresh semula tanggungjawab kakitangan terhadap pelaksanaan EKSA di PPANPk di samping memberikan pendedahan terhadap panduan dan peraturan yang perlu dipatuhi dan dilaksanakan mengikut kriteria yang telah ditetapkan. Kakitangan juga diserapkan dengan semangat kerjasama dan komited untuk berusaha mendapatkan sijil pengiktirafan EKSA sebelum berakhir tahun 2019. Lensa Latihan PROJEK PENDOKUMENTASIAN DAN PENERBITAN SEJARAH LISAN 101 TAHUN MASJID UBUDIAH, KUALA KANGSAR, PERAK 2018: BENGKEL LATIHAN PERSEJARAHAN liSAN (ORAl HiSTORY) TAKLIMAT PEKELILING engkel Latihan Persejarahan Lisan (Oral History) telah diadakan selama 3 hari iaitu pada 11 hingga KEMAJUAN B13 Oktober 2018, di Perpustakaan Raja Ashman PENTADBIRAN Shah, Universiti Sultan Azlan Shah dan Masjid Ubudiah, Kuala Kangsar. Program ini adalah projek kerjasama di antara Perbadanan Perpustakaan Awam Negeri Perak bil.4/2018 - (PPANPk) bersama Fakulti Pengurusan Maklumat, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Cawangan Kedah dan MYPORTFOLIO Majlis Perbandaran Kuala Kangsar (MPKK). Peserta yang terlibat terdiri daripada 10 orang kakitangan PPANPk, 10 orang pelajar UiTM Cawangan Kedah dan 10 orang eiring dengan pelaksanaan Pekeliling kakitangan MPKK. Peserta program dibimbing oleh 2 Kemajuan Pentadbiran Awam (PKPA) Bil.4 orang penceramah dan 5 orang jurulatih. STahun 2018 bertajuk myPortfolio: Panduan Kerja Sektor Awam yang berkuatkuasa 01 Januari Matlamat utama bengkel ini dilaksanakan adalah 2019, PPANPk telah memutuskan untuk mengguna bagi melengkapkan para peserta dengan ilmu pengetahuan pakai myPortfolio. Satu taklimat mengenai yang membolehkan mereka menjalankan tugasan myPortfolio telah dijalankan pada 01 November berkaitan sejarah lisan. Dengan ilmu dan perlaksanaan 2018 di Bilik Dahlia, PPANPk. Kakitangan yang aktiviti sejarah lisan ini dapatlah memperkayakan lagi terlibat adalah terdiri daripada kakitangan gred 44 isi kandungan tempatan (local content) terutama yang hingga gred 22 seramai 28 orang. mempunyai kaitan dengan sejarah negeri Perak. Sasaran orang sumber satu dokumen baru yang menggantikan Fail Meja temu bual adalah di kalangan masyarakat yang dipilih terdiri kakitangan yang mengandungi elemen baru iaitu Job Description daripada penduduk sekitar yang mempunyai pengetahuan Deskripsi Tugas ( ) bagi menggantikan dan pengalaman khusus tentang Masjid Ubudiah. Senarai Tugas kakitangan. empena World Kamishibai Day, PPANPk telah mengadakan program cuti sekolah iaitu sesi bercerita menggunakan teknik Kamishibai (Pentas Kertas) yang membawa maksud Kami (kertas) dan shibai (drama/ pementasan). Ia merupakan seni bercerita tradisi masyarakat Jepun lazimnya menggunakan kad atau kertas tebal dan keras. Setiap kad mempunyai cerita dan dialog yang menyeronokkan dan ilustrasi yang menarik. Program tersebut telah diadakan pada 7 Disember 2018 dan disampaikan oleh Pustakawan, Puan Suraya Haji Ariffin. Di samping itu, sesi origami juga telah dijalankan setelah selesai persembahan bercerita. Seramai 51 orang telah menyertai program ini. aktiviti@perpustakaan rogram aktiviti@perpustakaan 2018 Zon 6 (Daerah Manjung) buat julung kalinya diadakan di Perpustakaan Desa Pasir Panjang Laut. Program ini diadakan pada 10 November 2018 (Sabtu) menyaksikan penglibatan orang ramai dengan kunjungan lebih kurang 300 orang. Aktiviti ini dimeriahkan lagi dengan kehadiran tetamu kehormat iaitu Cikgu Ahmad Hasnin Bin Abdul Samad, mewakili Ketua Kampung Pasir Panjang Laut yang juga telah merasmikan program aktiviti@perpustakaan ini.     Poverty, Inequality and the Lack of Basic Rights Experienced by the Orang Asli in Malaysia Submission on Malaysia in advance of country visit of the Special Rapporteur on Extreme Poverty and Human Rights OHCHR by Ooi Kiah Hui ([email protected]) Focal person for Orang Asli land rights Senior Director, Policy, Advocacy & Research, Malaysian CARE The Orang Asli population of 217,000 (Nicholas, 2019) in Peninsular Malaysia comprises 18 tribes, each a distinct people group with their unique culture, language and social norms. They are the poorest and most marginalised group in Malaysia, with over 50% categorised as poor and 33% living in hard-core poverty, compared to 0.7% hard-core poor of the national average (Economic Planning Unit, 2010, Department of Statistics, 2010). Many villages, even those located near small townships, without paved roads, no electricity, no direct clean water supply nor sanitation services. The situation of the Orang Asli in our midst today exemplifies the clearest links between poverty, inequality and the deficiency of human rights in Malaysia. Diminishing customary land and decreasing economic independence Although cash-poor, the Orang Asli were for generations an independent people group. They provided for themselves and their families sufficiently through forest resources and subsistence farming. However, the increasing encroachment of native customary land has led to severe violation of almost all sectors of their basic rights - rights to clean water, to food, to health, to shelter, to security and to life. The infringement of customary land rights is the most conspicuous sign of the extent of the marginalisation and inequality.

Is the new prime minister, whose legitimacy is being contested, feeling insecure? Or does he have the requisite numbers to support him — or is it both? COMMENTARY THE MALAYSIAN parliament is set to reconvene for a single day on 18 May 2020. It marks the first parliamentary meeting since Muhyiddin Yassin took over as prime minister through the controversial Sheraton Move, bringing into power a new governing coalition informally known as the Perikatan Nasional (PN).
