Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri, Dato' Seri Farizan Darus berkata, walaupun gagal mencapai sasaran 36 pingat emas sepertimana yang diumumkan Ketua Menteri, Y.A.B. Tuan Chow Kon Yeow sebelum ini, namun jumlah pingat emas yang berjaya dibawa pulang adalah amat membanggakan. “Sebanyak 32 emas yang kita peroleh pada temasya kali ini sudah cukup untuk dibanggakan kerana melebihi pencapaian pada SUKMA Sarawak (2016), iaitu 26 pingat emas. “Atlet kita (Pulau Pinang) juga dilihat begitu gigih dalam usaha untuk mengharumkan nama negeri dengan memberikan aksi terbaik dalam setiap acara sukan yang ditandingi, syabas dan tahniah,” katanya yang juga Chef De Mission bagi kontinjen SUKMA Pulau Pinang pada sidang media khas di sini 22 September lalu. Selain 32 pingat emas, kontinjen Pulau Pinang juga berjaya membawa pulang 30 pingat perak dan 30 gangsa sekali gus meletakkan Pulau Pinang di tangga ketujuh Daniel Abdul Majeed, Ummi Nazeerah Amran, Goh Xuan Le, sebelum diserahkan kepada kontinjen negeri Johor sebagai daripada 15 pasukan yang bertanding. S. Kamini serta pasangan Siti Nur Aisyah Adzmi dan Tan Kei tuan rumah seterusnya pada tahun 2020. Terengganu muncul sebagai juara dengan mengutip 56 Yi. Private Cars At Kulim town, if you are driving along Jalan Raya, turn left at the traffic light near the Kulim post office into Jalan Tunku Bendahara. If you are driving along Jalan Tunku Laksamana, at the traffic light where you can see Kulim Clock Tower on your right and the Kulim post office across the road in front of you, go straight to enter into Jalan Tunku Bendahara. After that drive straight for another 2.2km, pass 3 schools on your left, where the last one is SJKC Chong Cheng. Then pass the main entrance of San Fo En Buddhist Temple which is on your right.
