The basis of edit source Chapter 9: Meeting in Trostenwald (editing source editing) Official portrait of the original members of Mighty Nein, Ari. (Art 3) The seven people who will become the Mighty Neen first met in Trostenwald in 835 PD. Later, when the carnival suddenly became violent, seven of them worked together to defeat the threat of the undead, and found themselves embroiled in a local investigation. They formed an alliance to clear their names, and then decided to go together to zadash after that. Yasha alone did not leave Trostenwald with the rest of the group, and was prone to disappearing on her own case for several time. However, the group made a point of meeting her whenever they could. (Out of character, Yashah's absence was due to the frequent conflicts of 's Planning.) Adventures edit edit source Fan Art Mighty Nein, Max Beech Creative. (Art 4) On the way to zadash, the party passed through the town of Alfield when it was under siege by a flock of Gnolls. The group helped Crownsguard repel the attack and then tracked the gnolls to a nearby abandoned mine. With the help of a mysterious human cleric named Shakeste, they cleared the mine of the ghales and rescued several townspeople from Alfield who had been captured. Chapter 10: Gentleman's Agreement (editing by Editing) Caleb described the new batch as a motley group of. In the town of zadash, the group clashed with various factions: the local Crownsguard, the Righteous Brand, the dissenters known as the Knights of the Requithal, and a local criminal authority known as the Gentleman. After doing a few odd jobs, the party finally decided to team up with the gentleman, agreeing to do two jobs for him north of town. On the way to his first task in Labenda Swamp, the party encountered a defenseless girl named Kiri. They decided to take her with them and protect her. The official portrait of Calianne, Ari. They accomplished their task (providing a safe house owned by the Gentleman's Organization) with the help of a draconian named Calianna. They also helped Cali achieve his goal of finding and destroying the ritual cup used for contact with Tiamat. In the tunnels under the safe, party discovered a mysterious yellow ball. As soon as Fjord touched the ball, he had a vision of his former captain and mentor, Vandran, absorbing the same ball. The rest of the Mighty Nein saw Fjord push the ball into his chest and absorb it. When he came out of the vision, Fjord did not know what he had done. Later, the yellow eye of the same color as the ball appeared in the handle of the Fjord sword. On the way to the second task in Shadycreek Run, they passed through the town of Hupperdook and found a new home for Kiri. Chapter 11: Iron and Coast Editing Source Continuing on the way to Shadycreek Run, half of the party (Fjord, Jester, and Yash) were kidnapped by a group of slavers known as The Iron Shepherds. (Of character, Laura Bailey and were absent for several episodes after the birth of their child. Ashley Johnson was absent because of her filming schedule in New York.) Official portrait of Keg, Ari. (Art 6) Keg, a gnome fighter and former member of the Iron Shepherds, joined the party to avenge the Iron Shepherds for killing her friend. Beau, Caleb, Keg, Molly and Noth went to Scheydicard to escape to find and rescue their friends. At the same time, Knott considered Caleb the de facto leader of the Mighty Neen. During an attempt to ambush the iron shepherds Lorenzo (their leader) managed to kill Mollymouk after he lost consciousness from his own Bloody Maledict. The official portrait of Nelya, Ari. (Art 7) Beau, Caleb, Keg and Noth buried Molly and then continued to flee to Scheydirik. They were joined by Neal, a firbolg druid whose friend and son were kidnapped by iron sheepdogs. Arriving at Shadycreek Run, they found that their task for the Gentleman (to help Ophelia Mardun, by eliminating the iron shepherds, overlaps with their own goal of saving their kidnapped friends. They sought the help of Kaduchus Clay, a clergyman who lived and cared for a nearby cemetery. The group (now consisting of Bo, Caduseus, Caleb, Keg, Nila and Nota) made their way to Acid Nest, the headquarters of the Iron Shepherds. After defeating some of the iron shepherds, they found Neal's assistant and son in the basement. Neal left to escort them home. Moving on to the basement, the party discovered that their old friend Shakeste was also imprisoned. With his help, the party defeated Lorenzo and the rest of the iron shepherds. The fjord, Shooter and Yasha were found alive. Shakeste went to accompany the other captives home, while the Mighty Nein and Keg stayed for the rest of the night in the Acid Nest. During the looting of the house, they found a letter from someone named Avantika hiring a criminal family to find the balloon as one fjord is absorbed. After the balloon was found, it had to be delivered to Nicodranas. Fan art Mollymouk Graves by Heather Hood. (Art 9) After spending At night with Bo, Keg sneaked in the morning. The reunited Mighty Nein accompanied Ophelia Mardun (gentleman's business partner) back to zadash. On the way, they stopped at Molly's grave so that Fjord, Jester and Yasha could pay their respects. Yasha told the party that she would find them again when she was ready and took off alone. Mighty Nein arrived safely in zadash with Ophelia, fulfilling their contract with the Gentleman. They took a week of downtime in zadash for personal projects. When they got back together, Fjord asked the group to go to Nicodranas. He wanted to know what people who wanted the balloon he absorbed knew about it. Once there, Jester introduced Mighty Nein to her mother, Marion Lavorr. The party offered to help Marion deal with Algar Dumin, an possessive client who caused her problems. During the investigation, they encountered Yash in a bar, who rejoined them. The mighty Nein discovered that the Algar was an agent of Clovis Concorde, who kept the marida (water genie) in slavery. They freed the maride and forced the Algar to leave Nicodranas. Mighty Nein went to the docks late at night, after the lead that the encounter about the ball was going on. They tried to eavesdrop, but the crew of the ship moored in the harbor noticed them and attacked them. During the ensuing battle, they were on board the ship and dropped away, leaving the city. Chapter 12: Followers of the False Snake edit the source Aboard their stolen ship, Mighty Nein discovered a map where Avantika (the pirate captain) was waiting for the yellow ball. They decided to go there to find out what Avantika knew about the balloon. They sailed back to Nicodranas, hired a crew for the ship, and then sailed to Urukayxl Island. The fjord commanded a ship (now renamed Mistake) called Captain Tustuut. Fan Art Avant-Art, BlackSalander. (Art 10) Avantika and her ship, Squall-Eater, met the mistake in Urukiksle. Communicating with Avantic, Fjord learned the identity of his patron of sorcerers - a powerful sea creature named Uk'odoa, the Great Leviathan, which was sealed for centuries. The avant-javatic (also the sorcerer Uk'odoa) intended to free him by placing three balls (called Cloven crystals) in three temples around the Lucidian Ocean. She already had one crystal, and she knew the location of the temple on Urukayxle. She gave the party little choice but to play along with his desire. The mighty Nein traveled with Avantika and Jamedi Kosko inland past the residents of the yuan-ti and the lizard into the inner chamber of the temple. Fjord and Avantica raced to place their crystals in the temple to unlock the first seal. The avant-force succeeded and was rewarded with the power to control the water. That evening, Avantic asked Fjord about his sword. She told him that she knew a man named Vadran (Fjord's mentor) who was carrying the same sword, and clove crystal. Fjord eventually agreed to work with Avantika to print Out Uk'otoa (and sleep with it). Now part of a pirate team, Mighty Nein sailed to Darkkow Island, an island controlled by a pirate alliance known as the Revelry. Avantico introduced them to Wyatt Maranos, the current Planck King of Revelry. After Jester and Noth broke into the Avantica's cabin and left obvious footprints, a fight broke out on the deck of the Squall Eater between Mighty Nein and the Avantika team. King Plank's guards broke up the fight and arrested everyone. During the next trial, Mighty Nein presented evidence that Avantika planned to overthrow King Planck with the power she would gain from the release of Uk'oth. He found her guilty of treason and executed her, but also expelled the Mighty Nein from The Island of Darktow and confiscated the mistake. They were forced to leave immediately on the badly damaged Squale-Ludoed. The mighty Nein sailed to the shipwreck where the Fjord last saw Khandran. Diving underwater, they found the shipwreck was plundered by a sea rage named Dashilla. They found her lair, defeated her, and restored another Cloven Crystal. Twiggy's official portrait, Ari. (Art 11) On his way to a safe port to repair a ship, Mighty Nan discovered a stowaway dwarf named Twiggy, on the run after stealing Happy Fun Ball tricks, a mysterious magical artifact. Caleb accidentally opened the portal using an artifact, and moved the party and Twiggy to an extra-dimensional manor. After passing through the deadly traps and fighting with his first dragon, the party barely managed to survive and find a way out. Now docked with Bisaft Isle, Twiggy left Happy Fun Ball with Mighty Nein and embarked on her own adventure. Following one of the Fjord's dreams from Uk'odoa, the party sailed on its ship (now refurbished and renamed Ball-Eater) to the site of the sunken temple of Uk'othoa. Under water, Fjord placed one of his two clove crystals in the temple. He saw the vision of the third and final temple and was rewarded with the power to control the water. Mighty Nein agreed not to release Uk'otoa, and it was time to return to earth. As long as the third clove crystal remained absorbed by the Fjord's sword, Uk'othoa remained sealed. Chapter 13: Shades of Grey (edited by source) Fan Art Mighty Nein Relaxing, Adrian Ibarra Lugo. (Art 12) Mighty Nein sailed the ball-Eater back to Nicodranas and made Oli Scythbek the new acting captain of the ship. They entered the mysterious tower of magicians and made an alliance with Yussa Errenis. The party gave him a Happy Fun Ball in exchange for access to his Teleportation Circle. They then went to Felderwin (not's house) after hearing that the Kryn dynasty had attacked the city. Arriving at the scene, they found that Nota's half-friend Eza Brenatto had not been seen but no body was found. In search of the ruins of his pharmacist, the party discovered a silver tripod, a vial of an unknown substance, and Cerberus Assembly research notes describing experiments with Dunamancy. One of the names mentioned in the notes was Trent Ikiton, a former Caleb teacher who changed his memory and tricked him into killing his parents. When a passerby told them that Eza's son, Luke Brenatto, had stopped at the Old Edith house, Knott insisted on going there. She ditched The Masking Self to look like a woman and Edith greeted Noth in a disguised uniform as Veth, Luke's mother. During an emotional meeting between mother and son, Veth assured Luke that she loved him and would return as soon as he could. Later, Noth showed the Mighty Nein that she was not born a goblin, but was a half named Veth. She and Osa got married; Luke is their son. The Goblins kidnapped the family, and when Veth sacrificed herself to allow Luke and Hera to escape, the goblins punished her, drowning her and resurrecting the goblin. Eza and Luke are unaware of Veth's transformation. Under pressure to share what he knows, Caleb revealed that his birth name was Bren Aldrick Ermendrud. He told the group that he had been trained as a teenager in the Assembly of Cerberus, but had not left behind the murder of his parents and the time spent in the shelter. Using the magic of Kaduchea and Jester, Mighty Nein discovered that Esza had been taken to Gore-Dranas, the capital of the Kryn dynasty. They reopened the tunnel through which the Kryn soldiers passed and followed their path under the mountains to Shorehas. After days of traveling underground, the party came out on the barren plains of Xhorhas. They defeated the Scout party of the Kryn dynasty, which ambushed them, but one of the parties (the magician) escaped. Moving through the plains, Mighty Nein reached Asaria, the City of Beasts. They were hired by Lady Setris Olios (sleepy city leader) to find the source of portals to the abyss that were popping up all over the city. During the investigation, Mighty Nein discovered that Bo Cobalt's mentor Soul Dyron was working as a spy in Asarius and planned to travel to Rosekhna, the capital of the Kneen dynasty. Nein returned to their investigation into the faults around Asarius and found another in the caverns under well. In the ensuing battle, Kaducheus was killed by a Nota blast bolt, but Jester was able to revive him with the help of both the Traveler and the Wild Mother. The group brought the abyss anchor Lady Olios, and received the promised award - an audience at the very Light queen. They were teleported to Rosekhna, but during an audience in the throne room of the Light queen they were recognized by Litir VaSuun, who had escaped from the battle when Nein first entered Shorehas. As the soldiers began to descend and plead not for husband dropped on deaf ears, Caleb produced a dodecahedron from Haversack Jester and proposed to his bright queen. The queen, shocked by the return of the precious artifact, declared the Mighty Nan the heroes of the dynasty. Shadowhand Essek Thelyss, a magician of sleep, was appointed by him as a steward. The group learned some of the history of Kryn and their sides of the , received free accommodation at a local hotel, and were sent to Professor Waccoh for work. Nott was allowed to visit Yeza in the cave of repentance, and the two had a long-awaited reunion where Yeza accepted Nott's new appearance, and Essek granted Yeza his freedom. Chapter 14: The Orphan Trial (editing source) The Party began to explore the city of Rozokhna and met with the eccentric Professor Wacco, who instructed them to clean up some of the giants that had invaded the local mine. They learned that the giants had actually been driven out of their original home by strange demonic creatures, and the party agrees to clean the giant's original home so they can leave the mine. With the help of a stone druid giant called Soorna, Brian was cleared of demonic creatures, and the party discovered that a familiar device causes infection - another abissal anchor like the one from Asarius. The party rested all night, and Yasha got a mysterious dream about the red-skinned demonic figure standing over the bodies of Yasha's loved ones. In another dream, Yasha saw a vision of Stormlord, who told her she had to fight against the chains that tied her up. Yasha then told the group about her marriage to Kuala, how she angered her clan and how she escaped after Kuala's capture. She also shared that she doesn't remember anything afterwards, having a memory gap. The joke scryed at the owner of a piece of cloth Beau found caught in the Abyssal anchor and saw the blonde Semnyan man plot some sort of encounter on Okorov in thirteen days. The group later learned that the Overcrow pharmacist was run by Maruo and was hiding from the residency supply. Nein returned to Rosokhna and received his awards. That night, Fjord got another dream from Uk'otoa, demanding that he return to the Coast of Menageri and free him, and Fjord temporarily woke up without his magical abilities as punishment. Dan Thelyss gave them a house they called Xhorhaus. Through Dispatch, Shakeste agreed to take Luke and Old Edith south to Nicodranas and security. Through Scrying, Jester witnessed a royal meeting with the Dwendal king of the dwendalian Empire discussing the upcoming military and murder attacks, which they shared with the bright queen. She asked them to bring her man, who appeared at a meeting in Okorova, but in the ensuing confrontation he escaped. They found out that his name was Obann and that he apparently recognized Yasha. The party traveled through the prickly fields (meeting with rock in Arbor in Bazzoxan in pursuit, in the underground tomb, the Royal Cage. Deep inside, they finally caught up with Obann performing the ritual to free the laughing hand from his sarcophagus. In the ensuing battle, Obann called for his apparent prior connection with Yash and succeeded in taking control of her. He was then seemingly killed, but laughing Hand escaped with Yashha. Chapter 15: Against chains edit source That night, back in Bazzoxan, Jester through Scrying saw Yasha perform the ritual of returning Obann to life. Mighty Nein returned to Rosekhna and informed the Light queen of what had happened in the Royal Cage. They learned that a series of attacks and attacks on Wolstrucker that they had seen were planned through Scrying, and warned the Kryn dynasty that they had indeed taken place and had been thwarted by their information. Kryn captured and imprisoned one of the killers, but when Caleb interviewed her, he didn't recognize anyone. When they returned to Xhorhaus, Dyron and Beau agreed that Dyron would remain in the house as the party's housewives in their absence. The party used Teleportation Circle to visit Nicodranas and reunite Eza with Luke Essek, and then teleport them to Kravaraad to realize Kaducheus's dream of redeving the swords he had acquired, where they encountered the Dust family and learned that the chief forger, Dulgrim Smelborn, was apparently still living in The Uthodurn. Kaducheus realized that he needed exquisite misuuma crystals to continue his search for his family. That night, Fjord had a vision of Uk'odoa threatening to take his strength away from him again if he did not return to the Menagedi coast to complete the return of the last of the three clove crystals to the final lock that binds him. The fjord, alone, tried to haggle, slowly driving the blade into his chest, and when it failed, throwing it into the molten center of Cinderella's sanctuary, leaving it seemingly free of Uk'otoa, but without magical powers. The party went to Uthodurn after learning that while Dulgrim Smeltborne was dead, his son Umagorn would be able to reforge the blade if he was icy, mythril fascinated by the breath of the white dragon. They met Reani, Aashimar's defender, who joined them. After learning of a white dragon named Helidon, they were briefly teleported to Rosokhna so that Essek could teleport them directly to Mimburrow, his lair. They managed to get Helidon to breathe on the mythril, and they managed to change it to the ice. Using Tiny Hut as a dragon- proof bunker, they were able to get a glacier bar and escape back to Uthodurn. There, Kaducheus acquired exquisite misuuma crystals. They escorted Umagorn back to the forge in Kravaraada, where he successfully forged Dwueth'var. Fjord got another vision from Wildmother and took her charge to become her paladin. Kaducheus threw his misuum in Magma is a forge where she was transformed into purple crystals that grew roots by performing the first part of her vision under Arbor designs. Saying goodbye to Reani, they return to Rosekhna, where Caleb again interviewed the captured Lashier, and was attacked when she suddenly broke the chains. Dyron told them the mysterious blond man they saw in their Scrying was Vance Nuthaleus, the Ludinus Da'leth app. The next morning they were teleported to Nicodranas, where Jester, Scriing, witnessed Yasha taking part in the massacre in the Head of the Cobalt Soul. They traveled on horseback back north to zadash, where they learned about the Cult of Angel Ayres and the two fallen former champions of the Traitor Gods: Laughing Hand and Jurrael. Jurrael's head and heart were separated and hidden in Velhutil and Lotusden Greenwood. Obanne was looking to reunite them and had already regained her head, and when Jester Scryed on Yasha, she saw her in Lotusden. They had Essek teleporting them there to try to interrupt Obann's plans, but failed, and returned to Rosohna to regroup. Somewhat at a loss, they teleport back to Nicodranas, where they learned that Yussa Errenis had disappeared in Happy Fun Ball. Yussa Vensforth's assistant turned to Yussa's friend Alure Vysoren for help, and she called on the party to enter the realm of relics to save Yussa. In the Sphere, they encountered the soul of an ancient magician named Khalas, captured in ruby, and they managed to save the Yuss and destroy the First Heart, which supported the immortal nature of the Laughing Hand. On their return, Allura and Yussa determined that the iron cult angel was actually the front for . Yussa sent ruby soul Halas in another plane for storage. The mighty Nein returned to zadash, where they were attacked in the Invincible Tramp of the inevitable end. For security reasons, they slept that night in the gentleman's lair, where Jester confronted him, and he confessed that he was her father. Beau drunkenly confessed to Nott that she was in love with Jester. They received Astrid's response to a letter from Not and Jester from Commerce and Chaos (2x31) in which they invited them to visit her at Rexxentrum. When Pumat Sol Creed on Yasha, he saw her, Obann, Jourrael, and laughing hand in Rexxentrum as well. The party and Pumat are teleported there in pursuit, and in the ensuing battle of Shantry Dawn, it was possible to free Yasha, destroying Obanna and Laughing Hand, and freeing Jourrael, who disappeared. They were taken to the King and his trial, including Trent Ikiton. Allura told the king that the Kryn dynasty had agreed to stop their attacks, given the seriousness of the threat posed by Tharizdun, and the king agreed to peace talks, including the return of the stolen Luxon Lighthouse, putting Mighty Nein in charge of making arrangements. 16: Reunion and Reconciliation (edited by source editing) At their request, Ludinus Da'leth accompanies them to view the Luxon Lighthouse of the Empire at the Vergesson sanatorium, where they also speak with Trent Ikiton and Idewulf. The lighthouse seems authentic. Back in Rexxentrum, Fjord, Bo and Yasha do some pit fight and re-meet Darrow Allocke. Caleb goes to visit Astrid, who, regretting that he broke the preparation, believes that her work is necessary for the Empire. Yasha reads her Book Gainful Exercises and gets a plus 1 to her strength. They return to Rosekhna, where Essek Theis tells them about the capture of Adin Tashithar, who appears to have been a traitor who gave the Beacons to the Empire, although his mind seems to have been tampered with when the party visits him in prison. The flamboyent queen agrees to peace talks for four weeks at sea in the Lucidian Ocean, including the exchange of prisoners vensle Nutus and Adeen, and the return of the lighthouse. That night, Essex comes to dinner at shorehouse. They share information, and he agrees to help explore the spell of Transmogrification to restore the Note in its semi-form. Eventually he, Caleb and Noth are successful, and Caleb begins the ritual, only to be brushed aside when the curse, persisting on Notte, blocks the spell. They realize that the woman who cursed Nota and who promised Father Bo wealth is the same person, and return to zadash, where they learn that her name is Isharnai. The next morning they went to Kamorba, Bo's hometown. There, Beau meets his parents and meets his younger brother Thoreau Junior (T.J.) for the first time. They then go to isharnai's hut, where in a one-on-one interview with the majority of the party members they learn that she is fed by suffering and is looking for more. Jester short-circuits this by giving her cupcake riddled with dust of goodies and using Modify memory to trick her into lifting the curse blocking The Note's recovery. They rush and teleport back to Rosekhna, where Essex is transported to The Whitedown Lagoon to continue the fate of the Caduseus family. While they travel through the jungle, Jester is visited by a Traveler who admits that he is actually Artagan, admits that he is out of his depth in all this time-god thing, and asks her for help for TravelerCon. The rest of the party agrees with the reservations. When they reach the Oasis of Menajri, they discover the missing Caduseus family, along with the Stone family, who care for the shrine, all of which have been turned into stone by a mutated gorgon. They kill the gorgon, restore many people, and Kadusei has a reunion with his family. He and his sister Calliope throw their residence crystals in the pool, turning them into the final shape that Kaducheus saw in his vision. A batch of clay teleports in Uthodurn, where Reani agrees to escort them back to the BlossomIng Grove. Teleports in Nicodranas. There they reunite with Oli Skiffbeck and the rest of the Ball-Eater crew. The Armada of the Empire is preparing for peace talks. Spying with Frumpkin, they learn that the alleged Nicodran lord, Desran Thein, is actually Essex In a disguise, and that he is a traitor who gave the beacons to the Empire and works in concert with Ludinus Da'leth. Official full portrait of Veth's body, Ari. (Art 13) Caleb successfully throws Transmogrification to restore Nott to her true form, like halfling Vet Brenatto, and she happily reunites with her husband and son. Later, they attend an official party at the house of The Marquis Jafe Uludan, where they kidnap Essek in his Lord Thein disguise back to his ship, and he admits that he is a traitor. While Caleb is willing to forgive him, Beau and Veth are not. The next morning they leave the Ball-Eater board with the rest of the Armada, traveling to the place of peace talks with the Kryn dynasty. Several nights, they are attacked by several marine spawning and deep fathers who kill the fjord (and hordes) and try to drag his body away before they win. The Fjord and the Hordes are successfully reborn, and the Great Restoration removes the remaining Cloven crystal from the Fjord's chest, which Caleb puts in his Amber Sanctuary. At the invitation of Wess DeRogna Bo and Caleb inspired her and Ludinus Da leth on their ship, inspected the lighthouse (which seems genuine) and offered a job in the north after the successful conclusion of the negotiations. They reach the rendezvous and peace talks take place, the lighthouse returns, the prisoners exchange, and the armadas both sail away. Chapter 17: Rumblecusp (editing source) The party went to Rumble and TravelerCon, but on the fourth day noticed that they were being chased by a dragon turtle. Thanks to the successful Polimorph of The Turtle Jester, the party escaped and landed safely on Ramblekuspa, discovering a small village. Viridian, the leader of the villagers, told them that they should meet and get permission for TravelerCon from Vokodo, the god of fire who lived under the volcano. They traveled there with Viridian, and after Vokodo demanded and received many valuable gifts, he agreed to allow them to keep TravelerCon until the Traveler's followers brought him gifts. Once outside the lair, the Great Restoration removed Viridian's amnesia, and she remembered that her real name was Vila. Deciding that Vokodo was to die, they explored the island and found a second entrance to the lair and a cache of preserved abandoned ships behind the Heavenly Falls. Using divine Intervention, Kaducheus learned that Vocodo had broken through to the Material Plane from the Astral Plan to avoid hunting him. During the process, fragments of several other aircraft were also brought to the island. Mighty Nein decided Explore the ruins, learn nothing useful. They returned to the ship's cache to spend the Heroes' holiday and rest for the night. The next day, the group (including Vila) fought and defeated Vocodo and restored most of their treasure. For the next few days, they were preparing for TravelerCon. Vila used transportation through plants to return to her family. The next day TravelerCon went ahead, a joyful, noisy and chaotic feast of Dix and The Traveller. In his climax at the top of the volcano, the traveller tried to distract his followers for worshipping Moonweaver, claiming he was her avatar. However, her true avatar appeared and began to drag Artagan in chains, only stopping and releasing him when Jester declared his love for him, and he admitted that he had learned his lesson. The next morning, the band commanded the Eden skyline, changing its name to Nein Heroez and turning it into Oli Scythbeck for work. They are then teleported to Nicodranas. Chapter 18 edit source Before leaving Rumblecusp, Yasha received from Donkey a magic tattoo that increased her dexterity. Once in Nicodranas, Veth and Jester spent time with their families, and the group went shopping. The next day the party minus Vet teleported to Rexxentrum to find Wess DeRogna and discuss a job offer at Eiselcross. After meeting with Wess DeRogna, Caleb received an email from Trent Ikithon asking him to see Mighty Nein at his estate the next day for dinner and conversation. Caleb decided to accept his inviatation out of a desire to learn more about the Assembly and its members. During the dinner, Ikiton asked Caleb if he wanted to potentially take his seat in the Assembly. He also discussed how he molded Caleb to make him a more powerful master, starting with his killing of his parents as a test of loyalty. In the evening, Caleb showed off his newest spell as the Mighty Nein's Nascent Nein-Side Tower, a nine-story tower that includes bedrooms for everyone, a three-level library, a dining room and a room filled with magic cabinets that can do anything. The party, later investigating deRogna's concerns, tracked down Mollymouk's grave and found that his body appeared to be alive again in the North, possibly with Cree. The name edit the source of fan art Mighty Nein by GalacticJonah. (Art 14) After defeating the Gnoll pack that swooped on the town of Alfield, the adventurers gained some notoriety for themselves. A local caretaker, Bryce Feelid, asked for the group's name for their Crownsguard documents. After conferring among themselves, the group stopped by Mighty Nein, a nod to Caleb's Seminian accent. Out of context, out of character Liam O'Brien used German words and a German accent as a sub-snkeeper for Semnyan The rest of the actors took on this and would shout Nein!, the German word word No, whenever Nine has been rolled or referenced. The joke became a running gag for several episodes. When asked to come up with the band's name on the spot, Nein was the first that the band landed on, plus the mighty for strength. It became a joke that the new people party meets Nein's mistake for number nine. They are often confused that the party does not have nine members. Trivia edit source the name Mighty Nein was chosen because of the combination of the party's unlucky streak of rolling 9 for attack rolls, damaging rolls, and testing abilities, Caleb's German accent, and the joy of the party in Liam spoke the German word nein. The title may also be a reference to the 2016 video game Mighty No 9, which includes as Piropen (Mighty No.1), Steve Blum as Counterside (Mighty No. 8) and Yuri Lowenthal as Bec (Mighty No. 9). None of the religious members of the Mighty Nein follows the approved deities of the Dyandal Empire. Jester worships the Traveller, Molly worshipped Lunovka (he publicly worshipped the Platinum Dragon as a front), Kaducheus and Fjord worship the Wild Mother, and Yasha worships the Lord of the Storm. Although Bo is nominally attached to the worship of knowing the Mistress (state-approved deity) as the Monk of the Cobalt Soul, Bo only occasionally expressed interest or faith in her. The music star chose The Disguised Me as one of her spells by Arkan Trickster. Caleb Widogast in his book Disguise Yourself as a wizard. All Mighty Nein is in stark contrast to previous players' characters: Fjord is very intelligent, but one of the weaker members of Mighty Nein, while Grog had low intelligence and was a muscle Vox Machina. Also, as a sorcerer, Fjord throws quite a bit of magic in addition to his melee, as opposed to the complete lack of Grog's magic. Beauregard is a self-confident cynic with no remorse for harming innocent people if necessary, and categorically refused to accept the Cobalt Soul Path until she was beaten in acceptance. By contrast, Kaylit was an idealist who was traumatized when she accidentally killed an innocent child and happily went to her Aramente. Both have poor social skills, but Keyleth was socially awkward while Beau is just abrasive. Caleb is a pure magical user while Vax was basically a physical fighter. In the first campaign a lot is mentioned that Wax has no secret knowledge at the beginning, while Caleb as a master has a lot of secret knowledge. Wax made himself look real, while Caleb is actively working to cover himself with dirt and dirt. Wax spent his entire life with his sister, while Caleb's closest friend in the Music Party, whom he met relatively recently. Wax regularly ran in danger without problems risking his life to his friends, while Caleb always hangs away from danger and considers himself a coward. Nott is a huge difference from Scanlan. Low charisma, awful singing, constantly nervous and jittery, where Scanlan projected confidence, and goblin when Scanlan hated goblins for killing his mother (although Noth also hates goblins). Scanlan Scanlan Trinket the bear, while Nott - as a pickpocket - loves trinkets. Vex was a smart and serious member of Vox Machina often coming up with plans and strategies while Jester acts ditzy and joker. While Vex has had a hard time trusting people growing up, Jester is an optimist who feels it's always best to trust someone, even if they obviously cheat on you. Jester is also less concerned about money than Vex was, grew up being spoiled by her wealthy mother and having little understanding of how hard it is to earn coins while Vex lived in the woods, worked hard for every coin she earned and was an expert haggler when it came to prices. Mollymauk was only slightly above average intelligence while Percy was the smartest member of Vox Machina. Percy put importance on politeness, moderation and appearing noble while Mollymauk was ostentatious, shameless and reveled in being chaotic. Molly was a melee fighter with some range spells while Percy was a range fighter with some melee capabilities. Percy sought revenge against those who had harmed him and destroyed his family in the past; Molly completely forgot her past, constantly living in the moment and not wanting to know what happened. Molly was also really nice, despite coming off as unreliable, while Percy appeared simple but harboured the dark side and didn't always care about the collateral damage. While Mollymook based his life on excess and hedonism, Kadusei Clay lived a protected life based on a healthy lifestyle and far from the influence of vice. While Molly has caused increased damage from her blood hunter abilities, Caduseus's main talent is healing. While Mollymook once escaped death by escaping from his own grave, Kadusei ran the cemetery and spent his entire life learning the natural state of death. Yasha is a barbarian and pure physical brawler, which is in stark contrast to Pike's role as the group's healer. Yasha is also very closed and stupid where Pike was friendly and very kind. Yasha is one of the highest and strongest members of the party, Pike was a tiny gnome. In addition, Pike used divine magic and worshipped Sarenrae Everlight goddess all about redemption and healing, while Yasha is a fallen aasimar. Fallen aasimars have their inner light replaced by a shadow. She is also a follower of Stormlord, God is all about strength and struggle. Several members of Mighty Nein go by names behind others behind their birth names. Jester was born Genevieve Lavorre, but chose Jester as the name of virtue. Noth was born Veth Brenatto, but was given the name Knott after becoming a goblin. After becoming Halfling again, she returned to her original name Vet. Caleb was born Bren Alric Ermendrud, but took various aliases, hiding from Trent Ikithon, with Caleb is Mollymuc acquired his name after waking up in a grave without his past, and was formerly known as Lucien and Nonagon. Fjord got the surname Stone from director Driftwood, but usually just tells people that he does not have a last name.
