The objective of this interdisciplinary con- ference is two-fold. Firstly, it keenly aims to contribute to the establishment of an interdisciplinary dialogue on Migration. This will be achieved with the participation of internationally prominent scholars and researchers representing a diverse array of fields: Anthropology, History, Prehis- toric Archaeology, Linguistics, Education Sciences, Sociology, Political Science, Psy- chology, Social Medicine, and Philosophy. Secondly, it aims to promote inter-disci- plinary exchanges and synergies between senior and younger scholars, from and abroad.

17 October Directions in Scientific Research on Migration: Cross-disciplinary Perspectives On Day 1, internationally distinguished scholars present their scientific work on migration, in a series of keynote presentations that will address migra- tion issues and related challenges from the prehistoric times to the present. The aim is to facilitate and steer dialogue and exchanges beyond disciplinary and spatial boundaries.
