Car certains espritsT retors ne cessent de traiter votre magazine de «bimestriel réactionnaire», «à côté de la plaque», juste parce que nous avons la volonté de ne pas céder trop rapidement aux effets de mode. Honnêtement, vous sentez-vous «réactionnaires» et «vieux jeu» parce que vous écoutez encore Pink Floyd, Yes, Deep Purple ou Marillion ? La Rédaction de Rockstyle a toujours essayé de proposer une alternative à la presse rock existante. Le rap, la techno, la génération «compil’ dance», les tubes interchangeables, los «ce sont les nouveaux Beatles !», désolé, ce n’est pas pour nous... D’autres s’en accommodent fort bien et souvent avec beaucoup d’opportunisme. Et même si nous sommes loin de Paris, le centre du monde, nous revendiquons une certaine qualité et un vrai «esprit rock». Les «bou- seux» provinciaux ont aussi des choses à dire. -
