The center for collecting, studying, preserving and displaying historical and cultural relics in Hubei, especially famous for its collection of ancient relics from the tomb of marquis Yi of Zeng.

Wuhan Han Show Theatre

A place to appreciate Jing-Chu culture, a traditional culture in Wuhan city.

Garden Exposition (园博园)

Located in Hankou, Wuhan, Garden Exposition is a big and good-looking park with many beautiful trees, flowers and great lakes. It vividly shows the traditional Wuhan style and features.

Cool Village(清凉寨)

Located in suburban Wuhan, Cool Village is one of the eight scenic spots in China,famous for its Chinese cherry, azalea, rape and camellia.

Enshi Tusi Castle(恩施土司城)

Enshi Tusi Castle is the country's largest Tujia culture landmark project, and also the largest and most typical style of antique buildings among the Tujia Diaojiaolou, which reflects the historical origins of Tujia, showing the Tujia ancient and honest customs of folk customs. Enshi Grand Canyon(恩施大峡谷)

Enshi Grand Canyon, located in the city of selenium - , Hubei Province, is the most lovely stretch of Qingjiang River Basin, and crowned as the most beautiful canyon throughout the world.

Dragon Cave(腾龙洞)

Dragon Cave is China's largest cave, one of the world's special caves. In the cave,the landscape is mysterious and unpredictable, while the scenery outside is picturesque. The magnificent Wolong swallowing waterfall has a gap of 20 meters, roaring like thunder.

Ping Ba Camp Tourism Area(坪坝营)

Ping Ba Camp Tourism Area combines ancient, odd, elegant, quiet, wild and other scenery, which enjoy a strong original flavor for the salient features. Also, it is the largest virgin forest community in the Midwest.

Application Qualifications

1. Students who are currently enrolled in an accredited college or university as well as high school seniors who have been accepted to an accredited college or university. 2. Applicants should bear in mind that some of the activities in this summer program may be physically challenging and involve intensive interpersonal interaction. 3. Candidates who will be able to get the most out of the exchange program are those who have related skills to meet these requirements.

Credit Transfer

1. Students will be assessed in the way as follows: Attendance and performance in classes accounts for 60% and a seminar for 40%. 2. The whole summer program is worth 4 credits at Wuhan University. Students are required to obtain approval from their academic advisor in their home institution to transfer credits back to their school.

Accommodation and Other Expenses

- Housing Students will be accommodated in International Service Center in the campus in Wuhan. Each room is facilitated with single beds, mattresses, desk, chairs, TV, Internet access and private bathroom.

- Food Meals are available in the student canteens in Wuhan at a very reasonable price (estimated USD40 per week). - Airfare Students will be expected to cover their own air tickets. Insurance Students are responsible for their own health insurance to cover their travel and stay in China.
