The conference was classified as one of the important events commemorating the 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States, and it became a high level forum between the Law Schools and legal libraries. It reached a Xiangshan Declaration at the first conference --CAFLL would establish the consultative committee and executive committee in China & U.S. as the permanent project, and it would be held every two years by this two countries in turn. The second conference was held in Philadelphia, 2011. The third conference will be held by East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL) in Shanghai, China. n the United States, Chinese and American Forum on Legal Information and Law Libraries I (CAFLL) is a non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Pennsylvania on February 1, 2010. It was granted the Federal income tax exempt status by the Internal Revenue Service under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code as of February 1, 2010. In China, it was supported by the Higher Legal Education Steering Committee of the Chinese Ministry of Education and China Association for Legal Education. It was also sparkpluged by China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) and daily administrated by the. Network of China Law School Libraries he Chinese and American Forum on Legal Information and Law Libraries (CAFLL) Tpromotes the accessibility of legal information and the education of legal information professionals in the United States and China. It aims at giving full play to the core role of the professional law librarians in the collection, organization and access of legal information. t conferences in 2009 & 2011, representatives from both sides had in-depth discussions on A many themes: law policy-making process and legal information system in China and the United States; the development, application, service and challenge of legal information resources in Chinese and American Law School libraries; the education, training, exchange and cooperation of Legal information professionals; the library leaders' status; librarian training; access to legal information; the internationalization of legal research; legal search and empirical research; modem technology's influence on legal library; law and government information retrieval in China and the United States and so on.     Transportation The conference will be held in North Zhongshan Road campus of East China Normal University (ECNU). The address is: No. 3663, North Zhongshan Road, Putuo, Shanghai. The hotel where all participants will stay is Yifu Building (逸夫楼) located on the campus. Arrival by flights: There are two airports in Shanghai: the Pudong Airport in east Shanghai and the Hongqiao Airport in west Shanghai. Both are convenient to get to the North Zhongshan Road campus of ECNU. At the airport, you can take taxi or metro to North Zhongshan Road Campus of ECNU. Taxi is recommended in terms of its convenience and time saving. Our students will be there for helping you to find the taxi. By taxi From Pudong Airport: about one hour and 200 CNY when traffic is not busy. From Hongqiao Airport: about 30 minutes and 60 CNY when traffic is not busy. Please print the following tips if you like “请带我去华东师范大学中山北路校区正门” in advance and show it to the taxi driver. The Chinese words in tips mean "Please take me to the main gate of North Zhongshan Road Campus of ECNU". By metro From Pudong Airport: 1. A conditional sale and purchase agreement (the “SPA”) has today been entered into with MSREF VII LEAPHART BV, being an unrelated third party vendor. Pursuant to the SPA, MGCCT will acquire 100.0% interest in Glamour II Limited (an entity incorporated in the Cayman Islands), which holds 100.0% interest in China Orient Limited (an entity incorporated in Hong Kong), which in turns holds 100.0% interest in Shanghai Zhan Xiang Real Estate Company Limited (an entity incorporated in the People’s Republic of China), the registered owner of Sandhill Plaza.     General Information Hotels Registered participants will stay in two hotels, Huashen Academic Exchange Center (Yi-Fu-Lou, or Xue-Shu Jiao-Liu Zhong-Xin) and Huashen International Exchange Service Center (Guo-Ji Jiao-Liu Fu-Wu Zhong-Xin), both located in the North Zhongshan Road Campus of East China Normal University (ECNU), No.3663, North Zhongshan Road, Putuo District, Shanghai. All foreign participants will be arranged to stay in Academic Exchange Center (Yi-Fu-Lou). Conference Venue The conference will be held in the Science Building A in the North Zhongshan Road Campus of ECNU. All plenary talks will be in Room 510, while the contributed talks will be in three parallel sessions in Rooms 510 (Session 1), 508 (Session 2) and 504 (Session 3). Presentation Unfortunately we cannot arrange any black-board talk for the conference. Please prepare your talk in PDF file, or write your presentation in white paper or transparency slides (overhead projectors will be provided in all the conference rooms). Meals The hotel room reservation includes breakfast in it. The conference will provide lunch and dinner (including the reception) for all registered participants in Qiu-Lin-Ge, a canteen-restaurant in the Campus.
