By Order Sd/- (Manoj Jain) Registrar General HIGH COURT OF DELHI: NEW DELHI No.119/RG/DHC/2020 Dated: 22.04.2020 OFFICE ORDER As per the directions of Hon’ble the Chief Justice, on the recommendations of the Hon’ble Information Technology Committee, and in view of the directions passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the case of Suo Motu Writ (Civil) No.5/2020 dated 6th April 2020 titled “Re: Guidelines for Court Functioning Through Video Conferencing During Covid-19 Pandemic”, this Court has started a Helpline Number “14611” to receive any complaint with regard to deficiency in visual acuity or audibility experienced by participants during the video conferencing proceedings. The helpline number will be manned by the officer nominated by the Registrar (IT) for receiving of any complaint, who, in turn, will communicate the same to the Court Master(s) of the concerned Bench. To facilitate lodgement of complaints the Listing Branch shall provide in the cause list, in addition to the helpline number, the mobile number of the court master of the concerned Bench. Furthermore, the cause list will indicate that no grievance will be entertained with regard to connectivity, quality or otherwise, after the video conferencing proceedings are over, save and except, where directions are passed by the concerned Bench to entertain such complaints post conclusion of video conferencing proceedings. On account of outbreak of COVID-19, regular functioning of this court remains suspended and hearing of urgent matters is presently restricted only to videoconferencing. To facilitate assistance to learned counsel for the purposes of joining the hearings through videoconferencing, mobile numbers of the Court Masters of concerned courts have been provided in the Cause List. It has, however, been brought to our notice that several calls, many of these at odd hours, are being made to Court Masters asking them to take on record documents, fresh applications etc or making all kinds of enquiries. Emails are also being sent to the Court Masters after court hours with similar requests. It is directed that henceforth, Court Masters shall be contacted only for the aforesaid limited purpose relating to joining the hearings through videoconferencing.     The Laxmi Chhaya DVD Introduction As with many other of the actors and actors in classic Indian films, not much (meaning practically nothing) of Laxmi Chhaya's personal life and her career in films is known. We know that she passed away way too early, dying of cancer about 6 years ago. Beyond that, nothing. If anyone can fill in details - family members, friends, friends of friends - perhaps you'd be so kind as to comment in memsaab's blog (link at bottom), maybe in her "My 10 Favorite Laxmi Chhaya Songs" post. There are many people around the world who love her, her dancing, and her acting in the movies available, and you'd be sure to receive a warm reception. Apparently she began her film career in 1963. I say 'apparently' because the information available is so sketchy that there's just no way to be sure it's accurate. I think her first film was 1963's Bluff Master starring Shammi Kapoor and Saira Banu (memsaab gets the credit for spotting her before the qawaali begins). I think this may have been her first film because she isn't listed in the film's credits, where for the other 2 films IMDB says she appeared in that year, she is listed in the credits. Here she is, standing beside Saira Banu: Hers was a speaking role with several lines of dialog, which makes her not appearing in the film's credits all the more peculiar. In the other 2 films she was in that year she (probably) performed her first dances.
