Through his 14-point outing against the Toronto Raptors on January 17, LeVert had played 20-plus minutes in nine of his previous 11 games. That included a stellar showing against the Cleveland Cavaliers, with LeVert scoring 19 points with five assists. Through his first 21 games, the 6-foot-7 swingman averaged 6.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists, making a 3-pointer in 14 of his first 21 games, including seven of his last eight. The opportunity presents favorable offensive matchups for the explosive 6-foot-7 forward. In a 14-game stretch through January 17, his offensive production increased to 10.1 points per game, with eight double-figure outings that included a 19-point night against Toronto. And Hollis-Jefferson was the Nets’ third-leading rebounder through the team’s first 41 games. With Trevor Booker out against Atlanta on January 10, Hollis- Jefferson drew a start at the traditional power-player spot and came through with 10 points and seven rebounds. “Rondae is one of our best rebounders,” said coach Kenny Atkinson. “So we did look at it that way and tried something a little different there … I like playing Rondae at the ‘4.’ I think he can rebound the position.” For an extended Rondae Hollis-Jefferson photo gallery, visit brooklynnets.com/photos 73366 WE CAME TO CREATE A VODKA SHOOTS.
