Eligibility Requirements for Application Freshman International students with foreign citizenship whose parents both have foreign Admission citizenship (Those who graduated or are expected to graduate from high school) International students with foreign citizenship whose parents both have foreign Undergraduate citizenship and completed at least 2 years(4 regular semesters, excluding summer, School Transfer winter sessions) of undergraduate education(must have earned all the credits Admission required to complete 4 or more semesters) and wish to transfer to the third year(junior) in undergraduate program at Hanyang University. ※ Students who went to community college must graduate (with associate degree or diploma equivalent to associate degree)from the school or must be on the list of candidates for graduation. ※ Students who went to college(s) which is/are not officially approved by the Ministry of Education are not eligible to apply for transfer admission. International students with foreign citizenship whose parents both have foreign citizenship or Graduate international students including Koreans residing overseas who have completed the entire School elementary, middle, high school and undergraduate education outside Korea (Bachelor’s degree required for Master’s program admission / Master’s degree required for Doctoral Program admission) ※ Applicants with Taiwanese nationalities can be recognized as international students with foreign citizenship whose parents both have foreign citizenship even if one of their parents holds Korean nationalities. ※ Freshmen and transfer applicants are recognized as international students with foreign citizenship only when the applicants and parents attained foreign citizenship before entering into high schools (Freshmen) or longer than three years since the application date (Transfer). (Koreans with double nationalities are not recognized as international students with foreign citizenship whose parents both have foreign citizenship.) ※ Nationalities of applicants for graduate program are judged based on the date of their application. 4. Certificate of English language proficiency test score (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS) ※ Applicants for international studies (undergraduate) must submit TOEFL IBT 89 and higher, or IELTS 6.5 and higher Only for holders Certificate of TOPIK score TOPIK level 4 and higher (Graduate & Undergrad in Seoul campus) TOPIK level 3 and higher (Undergraduate in ERICA campus) * China Academic Degrees & Graduate Education Development, Center ** China Higher Education Student Information and Career Center ① Koreans residing overseas who have completed the entire elementary, middle, high school and undergraduate education outside Korea should submit all elementary, middle, high school and University documents and earn Apostille Certification from the Government of the country where he/she completed school or earn Consul’s Confirmation from the Consulate office of Korea. However, students who went to Korean schools acknowledged by the Ministry of Education of Korea are exempted from submitting above. ② If you did not take General Examination For High School Graduates, you must submit certificate of National Higher Education Entrance Examination. For those who apply for undergraduate freshman admission and graduated from vocational high schools should submit vocational high school graduate certificates and transcripts with authentication certificates for both documents from CHSI. ③ For those who apply for transfer admission and submit certificate of enrollment should also submit high school graduate certificates with Consul’s confirmation for the proof of the highest level of education. ④ For Chinese residents who have graduated from a Chinese school and have to send authentication graduation certificates to an address overseas, please send it to Hanyang University,
