Secretariat General and officials of the Organizing Committee of Baku Islamic Solidarity Games. Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation P a g e | 1 The 1st Coordination meeting between the ISSF General Secretariat, the Islamic Center for the Development of Trade, the Organizing Committee of Olympic Games and Caspian Company. The 1st Coordination Meeting between the I.S.S.F. Secretariat General, the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade, the Organizing Committee of Baku Islamic Solidarity Games and the Caspian Company held on Nov.10, 2016 in Baku Azerbaijan in regard to holding the 1st Exhibition of Sport and Leisure Products for the countries members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The meeting was held to discuss the draft copy proposed for the "Agreement of Cooperation". However, in the meeting thereof, the parties involved have taken the following decisions: 1- The date of holding the "Exhibition" will be between 13 -16 May, 2017 so that to enable the Organizing Committee of the Games as well as the VIP guests and the participating delegations in the Games to attend the Opening ceremony of the Islamic Solidarity Games, Baku scheduled on 12 May, 2017. 2- The Exhibition will be conducted under the patronage of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Azerbaijan. 3- The Exhibition Venue is, temporally, in Baku city, the Capital of Azerbaijan, at "Baku Exhibition Centre". However, the "Caspian Company" will study the possibility of holding the said Exhibition in one of the Sport Facilities of the Games to enable the guests and participants to visit the Exhibition. 4- The ISSF as well as the Ministry of Youth and Sport in Azerbaijan will render all possible Logistic assistance to help holding the Exhibition in Baku. 5- Neither the I.S.S.F., nor the Organizing Committee of the Games will be responsible for any financial burdens in regard to holding the Exhibition. 6- Official Invitation to visit the Exhibition will be extended by the Islamic Center for Development of Trade to Ministers of Commerce in the Islamic Countries as per usual procedures adopted by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. 7- Both, the I.S.S.F. and the Ministry of Youth and Sport in Azerbaijan will issue an invitation, in pursuance of invitations already issued, to the Ministers of Youth and Sport and the NOCs members. 8- Invitation will be also forwarded to all countries members of the OIC and outside to ensure participation of all specialized companies in this field. 9- Holding and organizing the Exhibition will be announced during the meeting of the Ministers of Commerce in the Islamic Countries to held next month in Turkey where a decision will be taken to urge all Islamic Countries to take part in the Exhibition. Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation P a g e | 2 The participation of the General Secretariat of ISSF in the 21st session of the General Assembly of ANOC The delegation of General Secretariat of ISSF, composed of Mr. Khalid Bin Abdullah Bin Al – Sheikh ( the General Manager of ISSF) and Mr. Ashraf Sayed Abdullatif ( in charge of the technical affairs at ISSF), has participated in the 21st session of the General Assembly of ANOC held in Doha, Qatar on 15-16 November,2016. However, through coordination with Organizing Committee of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku 2017, separate meetings were held in Qatar with delegations of the National Olympic Committees during the period 14-17 Nov.(especially delegations of countries who expressed apology as they will not take part in the Baku Games in 2017 (i.e. Suriname, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan & Gabon. The representatives of I.S.S.F. in the meeting, were as following: - Mr. Faisal Abdulaziz Al-Nassar Secretary General of I.S.S.F. - Ms. Konul Nurullayeva I.S.S.F. Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation P a g e | 7 Preparations for the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku, 2017 The ISSF Secretariat General, in cooperation with the Organizing Committee of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku, have held a number of coordination meetings, the most important of said meetings are: 1- The 4th meeting of the Supervision and Coordination Committee held on 8-9 November, 2016 with the Organizing Committee of Baku Islamic Solidarity Games. 2- The Chefs de Mission Seminar held 8-9 December, 2016. Official invitations were forwarded to the all NOC members of the I.S.S.F. to attend the Chefs de Mission Seminar. While, the Organizing Committee had covered the traveling and hosting costs of one representative from each NOC, the NOC of their country should cover the costs of their second delegate.
