Depression is a sickness of heart and soul made possible only through heedlessness. ● A vigilant heart keeps belief and hope and trust posted at its gate as so many guardian angels. ● It never allows the darkness of depression and doubt to enter. ● Human hearts are a precious treasure. ● Many thieves lurk in the surrounding shadows looking to rob and plunder it. ● However, when the owner of the treasure is a friend of God, the treasure is well guarded. ● Its guardians are fed and paid with the currency of faith and remembrance. ● If there is no faith, there are no guardians; if no remembrance, no salary. ● Without guardians the palace doors lay open to what is unwanted. Thieves will never go to an empty house. That is why the Holy Koran insists that: "We verily did honor all the children of Adam" [17:70]. The explanation of that honor is the treasure which God deposited into the hearts of human beings. Angels teach those among human beings who are able to connect with them never to be cheated and robbed of the angelic light of their hearts. (Praise be to the Giver of all things, the generous Bestower, Praise to the Opener of All Ways, the All-Knowing, Praise to Him who answers all prayers.)” “I greeted this angel and he responded with full reverence and gave me news of many and varied blessings and gifts that were to come to me. After that, I went on and came upon a large group of angels ranged in rows and all in the position of Sajda. While bowing thus, they were engaged in this Tasbih:” Subhanal-khaliqil-azhim, Subhana-lladhi la mafarra wa la malja’a minhu illa ilayhi, Subhanal-‘aliyyil-a’la. (Praised be the Almighty Creator, Praise be to Him from whom there is no escape and no refuge but in Him; Praised be the Highest of All.) “Jibra’il then said to me, ‘They are perpetually engaged in this form of worship. Pray that the Lord grant that also to your nation.’ Then I prayed to the Lord and He granted to my nation the Sajdah in their prayer. This is the reason why the Sajdah in our prayer is doubled: when I came and saluted them, they raised their heads from their Sajdah to receive my salute, then they again bowed down. Therefore, my nation was obliged to perform the Sajdah twice in their prayer.” Harquaeel. Delighting in his many wings, this angel was taken by the desire to appraise the size of the divine Throne.

    If angels do not have a gender then how come they have boys names? It is true that we believe that angels do not have gender. Angels unlike human beings are pure spirit. This is why when people say that a human being has become an angel in heaven that is incorrect. Any human being in heaven is a saint. It is true that human beings until the resurrection of the dead while in heaven only contain their spiritual nature. But when Christ comes again, and the resurrection of the dead occurs at that moment human beings will become complete joining the physical and spiritual together in heaven. Hence, angels and human beings are not simply a different species they are different order of creation. As such angels can never become human and humans can never become angels. But when angels have been revealed to human beings, they taken on the appearance of somewhat human form. They did this in order for human beings to be able to comprehend the message that is being given to them from God. The word angel means messenger. And each angel has a specific function to perform based on their rank. There are nine ranks of angels: Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominions, Virtues, Powers, Principalities, Archangels and Angels. Seraphim are caretakers to the throne of God and lead the worship of God in heaven. Cherubim guard the tree of life and the throne of God. Thrones are living symbols of God’s justice and authority and listening to the will of God present the prayers of human beings to Him.

    CHAPTER THREE THE NATURE AND POWER OF SATAN Theorizing about the nature, origin, and cosmological status of Satan occurs among the selected writings, especially among the later ones. However, there is an obvious lack of "speculative" interest in the sense of seeking to work out a complete cosmology of evil. Concepts as to the origin, abode, and ultimate future of Satan are often very diverse, and there are only a small number of referen­ ces. An analysis and interpretation of the nature of Satan as conceiv­ ed by the early Christian tradition will be therefore necessarily less comprehensive than a discussion of his activities. There are some basic understandings as to the nature and power of Satan common to most of the selected writers, however, and they are best summarized by the New Testament phrases: Satan, the "prince of the power of the air," "ruler of demons," "ruler of the world," and "god of this age." A. SATAN: PRINCE OF THE POWER OF THE AIR 1. Origin of Satan For the most part, the New Testament writers make no theoreti­ cal assertions as to the origin of Satan. However, a number of passages by choice of words and phraseology seem to reflect the idea of Satan as a fallen angel who is chief among a class of fallen angels, an idea which appears frequently in apocalyptic literature.1 II Peter 2 :4, for example, refers to the angels that sinned and were cast into hell. In looking at angels we can see God’s designs for his creation, which tells us something about God himself. They teach us about ourselves We share many similar qualities to the angels. We also have several differences due to them being spiritual beings. In looking at these similarities and differences we can learn more about the ways God created humanity. In looking at angels we can avoid “angelic fallacies” which attempt to turn men into angels. They are fascinating! Humans tend to be drawn to the supernatural.
