Immigration is the boy who was forced to leave his country after his father was kidnapped and his mother attacked and threatened. Through the eyes of twenty-six Ibero-American artists the viewer is given the opportu- nity to explore the lives and experiences of all those dealing with immigration. This show embodies overlapping themes that are both personal and political. Each work provides an artistic perspective into issues such as border patrol, cultural immersion, discrimination, deportation and the struggle to find a better life. ada hernandez PRESIDENT OF ASSOCIATION OF IBERO-AMERICAN CULTURAL ATTACHES welcome jack rasmussen jilma prada The Association of Ibero-American Cultural produced tension, and therefore challenges. like to thank Mr. Francisco Pena (Paco), from DIRECTOR AND CURATOR AT PRESIDENT AND OWNER Attaches proudly presents the XVI Art Salon.
