San 12/15 @STK 2-5 L 12/18 ONT 3-4 L Diego is led by veteran captain Sam Carrick, brother of Barracuda d-man Trevor Carrick, who is th 12/20 @SD 4-2 W tied for 11 in the AHL in goals (18) and tied for second in plus/minus (22). In four games against 12/27 STK 1-8 L the Barracuda, Carrick has four goals, including a hat-trick in a 9-3 win on Nov. 13th. 12/29 BAK 5-7 L 12/31 @STK 0-4 L 1/3 @TUC 1-5 L Home-Sweet-Home: The San Jose City Council unanimously approved a 200,000 square-foot 1/4 @TUC 5-4 OTW 1/8 ONT 9-0 W expansion of Solar4America Ice at San Jose on Tuesday, which will add two additional recreational 1/11 STK 0-2 L ice sheets to the facility, increasing the building’s total ice sheets to six. The expansion will make 1/12 STK 1-2 L S4A Ice at San Jose the largest ice facility under one roof west of the Mississippi River. Blichfeld 2/16 @BAK 2/17 TUC currently sits at second on the team in goals (13), points (25) and is first in power-play goals (4). A 2/22 @SD season ago, Blichfeld led the WHL in scoring (53 goals, 61 assists) and was named the WHL Player 2/23 @ONT 2/26 ONT of the Year as a member of the Portland Winterhawks. 2/29 SD 3/2 IA ‘Cuda Call Up: The Barracuda recalled forward Tristin Langan from the Orlando Solar Bears on 3/4 IA 3/6 SD Thursday, the first call up to the AHL in his career. The 21-year-old has appeared in 38 games at 3/7 SD the ECHL level this season, totaling 30 points (12 goals, 18 assists), 26 penalty minutes and a plus- 3/10 @STK 3/13 @SD 21 rating. Last year as a member of the Moose Jaw Warriors in the WHL, Langan finished second 3/14 @ONT in the league in points (113) and assists (60) and tied for first in goals (53). Only Joachim Blichfeld 3/17 COL 3/21 @BAK (Portland Winterhawks) had more assists and points than Langan. 3/22 BAK 3/27 @TUC Youth Movement: The Barracuda enter Friday as the AHL’s youngest roster with an average age 3/28 @TUC 4/1 ONT of 22.50-years-old.
